@RaenestApp Earning over a $100K annual (average) from Upwork and other clients. An answer to this question would be very helpful, as I want to concentrate all earnings on a single platform (Raenest)…and also open a corporate account with @RaenestApp
@RaenestApp 1. As a freelancer, Upwork charges for tax and its compulsory to to link your TIN to your Upwork account. In this case, Upwork already deducts tax, will the freelancer also be taxed in Nigeria here for the income earned through the platform?
@RaenestApp 3. One of my clients sends me $500+ weekly with the narration “thank you for everything” 😂
This looks like a gift, but it’s consistent - same amount, same day.
Now I’m wondering… can this be taxed just because it looks like income? 🤔
@RaenestApp 2. Raenest currently doesn’t offer corporate accounts, so I use my personal USD/NGN accounts for client inflows (mostly from Upwork). But If I convert and move funds to biz account, it feels like I’ll still be taxed.
Any plans to roll out corporate account options for users?
