@bazy_IV@nekolela_maali@DouglasLwangaUg@UgandaMediaCent There is no need to create a new institution to run a portal, public service commission can simply extend their online platform to incorporate gov't agencies as well. @UgandaMediaCent role is to only communicate gov't polices thru the media not to run job portals.
Can the Media Centre also serve as a central hub for advertising government job opportunities? For example, vacancies across various ministries, government departments, and agencies could be posted in one place.
Where can a graduate currently go to find all available government openings? It would be beneficial to first centralize government job advertisements so that citizens can easily access and track opportunities from a single platform.
@ShawnEni This is simply fantasy coz he cannot even if he wanted. His worth’ isn’t cash sitting in a bank. It’s mostly stock value (Tesla, SpaceX, etc.). That value changes with market price and liquidity is limited. if he tried to sell a large chunk, the price would drop fast.
$1T net worth’ is simply 'paper wealth' not cash sitting in a bank. So he cannot even spend it. It’s mostly stock value (Tesla, SpaceX, etc.). That value changes with market price and liquidity is limited. if he tried to sell a large chunk, the price would drop fast.
PERSPECTIVE: Elon Musk's fortune is large enough to entirely sustain the running expenditures, public services, infrastructure developments, corruption and debt servicing of the Republic of Uganda for 50 years 🤯🤯🤯
@UncleBillz $1T net worth’ isn’t cash sitting in a bank. It’s mostly stock value (Tesla, SpaceX, etc.). That value changes with market price and liquidity is limited. if he tried to sell a large chunk, the price would drop fast. So it’s ‘paper wealth,’ not spendable money.
🚨At one trillion dollars, if Elon Musk spent one billion dollars every single day, it would take him approximately 2,738 years to run out of money.
That timeline takes us back to around 8,300 BC, when humans had no writing, no money, no wheels, and lived in small farming villages. That’s a future farther from us than the Stone Age is behind us.
That's just how vast one trillion dollars truly is!!!
@nekolela_maali@DouglasLwangaUg@UgandaMediaCent Rather than using @UgandaMediaCent itself, Uganda could have:
A central government jobs portal where every ministry, department, agency, and parastatal is required to publish vacancies.
Then, each institution would still conduct its own recruitment.
