We known all this bluffing of invading Eritrea is to get attention from international community so that they can interfere and help stop all the wars. A swift and coordinated operation of AFS and Eritrean army will start in the coming few days from different directions. From Bure, different parts of Tigray and Amhara, and through Sudan.
Ethiopia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is these days accusing Eritrea for acts of "unprovoked aggression that may jeopardize regional peace and security".
Audacity and duplicity in their most extreme forms!
The indelible facts:
1. Ethiopia has in essence declared a war of aggression against Eritrea when its Prime Minister announced to his Parliament on 13 October 2023 that his regime will acquire "sovereign access to the sea, through negotiations if possible and by force if necessary".
2. As illustrated in the Press Release issued at the time (link below), Eritrea responded with exemplary restraint and equanimity to underline that it will not be provoked by these perplexing pronouncements and events.
3. In subsequent and repetitive campaigns to agitate and solicit support from his domestic constituencies to his war agenda, the PP's leader invoked "Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights" as a useful precedent for what he had in mind for Assab.
4. He went further to denigrate and deny Eritrea's independence by stating that "he could not find any legal documents in all Ethiopian Government archives - the Cabinet, Parliament etc. - in relation to Eritrea's independence".
5. His periodic and strident agitations included urging and reminding the Ethiopian Army that its core mission centered on "ensuring and maintaining the security of the Red Sea from the edge of Somalia to the Port of Massawa".
4. Taking their cue from the Potemkin Party's Chief, senior political and military officials dwelt on provocative statements on several public events; essentially to declare that they will correct the "historical mistake" and forcefully occupy the Eritrean port of Assab as well as its entire southern coastline to secure "strategic depth" to their phantom naval force.
5. And, on 27 September last month, the Ethiopian Army's Deputy Chief of Staff openly declared that "the offensive launched in Tigray will not stop there". He went on to state: "Mekelle is a mere stop-over, our ultimate destination is Assab; our main objective is to install our flag in the Red Sea".
6. The hysterical infatuation with the Red Sea must also be seen with previous intentions to wage a war of invasion against Eritrea but that were not publicly divulged at the time. Indeed, the PP regime did not only try to entice the TPLF to join forces for an invasion against Eritrea in confidential meetings in Djibouti and Seychelles during the Tigray War in early/mid 2022, but a confidential report issued by the EU Envoy after her visit to Ethiopia in September 2022 - a couple of months prior to the Pretoria Agreement - bluntly announced that the 2018 Peace Agreement between Eritrea and Ethiopia had become "null and void". These were apparently sinister machinations to which Eritrea had no inkling at the time.
In brief, the Ethiopian regime has been pursuing, in effect, an unprovoked war of aggression against Eritrea for more than three years now in flagrant breach of foundational principles of international law and the UN Charter that prohibit the threat or use of force against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of another Member State.

And regarding to Red Sea and Nile. Its the same logic. Say over the Red Sea and the Nile is only to littoral states. All littoral states for Nile have a say, including Ethiopia and Egypt. By the way, Eritrea also has contribution through Setit River. Regarding Red Sea, Ethiopia is not littoral state and has no say. I dont know which organ you use to think.
@TiborPNagyJr Which port did Ethiopia had for millenia? That is ignorance and misleading with a hidden political agenda. Ethiopoa had port only during federation and 30 years after.

Despite losing 0–5 to South Africa today, Eritrea’s Red Sea Camels showed remarkable strength, technique, and determination. The score does not tell the whole story. Our national team witnessed the true potential and fighting spirit. Watch some highlights in this clip. 🇪🇷⚽️

The international community should pay close attention: the Ethiopian army is in a full-scale war on the Afar front against Afar and its allied forces, who are fighting for their survival.
At the same time, Ethiopian officials have made increasingly threatening statements about Eritrea’s Red Sea coast, including the recent statement by Ethiopian diplomat Dina Mufti that Ethiopia would celebrate 2027 in Assab after taking it from Eritrea.
Why has Ethiopia now given Al Jazeera unusual access to this war front? Why now, and what is the objective?
Ethiopia is falsely accusing Eritrea of supporting Afar and allied forces in an apparent attempt to create a pretext for invading Eritrea and seizing Assab.
The international community must urgently scrutinize these developments before another devastating regional war begins. Such a war would endanger the strategic Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb, which is already vulnerable due to the war in Yemen.
🛑 The War Cartel Exposed: Hands Off Eritrea’s Sovereign Ports! 🇪🇷 ⚖️
When an empire’s puppet begins to crumble, the pseudo-intellectual cheerleaders of conflict invariably drop their masks.
Western-funded talking heads have reached a disgusting new low: openly calling for the bombing of sovereign Eritrean ports to salvage a collapsing regime in Addis Ababa.
Let’s dismantle this toxic war-profiteering industry with cold, unvarnished facts. 🧵👇
🔍 Anatomy of a Disinformation Cartel
🔴 The Scapegoat Industry: Whenever Abiy Ahmed’s regime faces total domestic implosion, the default script is triggered: blame Asmara. Seven major Ethiopian resistance movements have formed the Alliance for Survival, actively collapsing the federal security apparatus from within. Yet these "analysts" have the audacity to blame Eritrea for a catastrophe entirely made in Addis Ababa. 🇪🇹💥
🟡 Incitement to War Crimes: Suggesting that sovereign Eritrean maritime infrastructure should be targeted is not "political analysis"—it is direct incitement to illegal cross-border aggression. These so-called experts act as megaphone mercenaries for conflict entrepreneurs who profit from African blood and resource extraction. 💣🚫
🟣 Disciplined Strategic Restraint: Despite three straight years of incessant territorial provocations, illegal maps, and saber-rattling from Addis Ababa, Eritrea has maintained ironclad strategic restraint. Asmara does not engage in reckless wars—it practices sovereign deterrence. 🛡️
🟢 Diplomacy via Legitimate Channels: While Western think-tank warmongers salivate over airstrikes, Eritrea’s Foreign Minister is engaging directly with the UN Secretary-General, championing hard regional stability grounded strictly in the UN Charter. 🇺🇳🤝
💡 A Blunt Message to the "Experts"
"The vulture only thrives when the carcass rots—and the conflict analyst only eats when brother turns on brother."
For decades, these self-appointed custodians of "democracy" have pushed narratives that divide the Horn of Africa, enabling destruction while lecturing the victims.
Enough is enough. If your academic and journalistic career relies on inciting sovereign bombings and manufacturing regional carnage: pack your bags and find an honest job.
Eritrea’s sovereignty, its ports, and its borders are inviolable. Any foreign-backed aggression directed at our red lines will be met with decisive defeat. 🇪🇷⚓

In characteristic fashion, Potemkin Party zealots are immersed in another, rather pitiful, round of malicious propaganda against Eritrea. This time round, the wicked plot revolves around the specter of "new and brewing hostilities" in the Group of Hanish Islands.
As it will be recalled:
- The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in the Hague rendered its sovereignty Award on the islands in 1998.
- Eritrea accepted the Award in accordance with the Agreement it had signed, and President Isaias Afwerki promptly sent a letter of reconciliation to his Yemeni counterpart (Ali Abdella Saleh). (It took Ethiopia 18 years to accept the PCA Arbitral Award on the Badme and environs dispute).
- Eritrea dismantled its military installations and withdrew its army units from the Hanish Islands three weeks after the Award although the provision stipulated for a latitude of three months .
- The dispute was thus settled with full restoration of warm bilateral ties thereafter.
Furthermore, what is odd in the PP's new line of propaganda, and that cannot be glossed over, is their clamoring few months ago when the UAE established an air strip in those islands (obviously with the acquiescence of the Yemeni Government). At the time, they saw this as "an asset and strategic depth" for the war that they have been contemplating against Eritrea.
@TadesseTeferra@HebentiEri291 Are you saying he studied in Amharic? How did he write his papers? How could he understand the lessons and reading materials if he doesn't need to know English? He is grade 7. Period. Infant we are generous to give him grade 7
#Eri101: Eritrea’s strategic location and immense resources are the envy of many. But there is no ambiguity: Eritrea has the capacity, vigilance, and resolve to safeguard every inch of its sovereign territory—land, sea, and air. 🇪🇷
It's hard for countries like Eritrea to be surrounded by countries with less literacy and expect to have a supportive neighborhood. Not only they become puppet states, but also turn the neighborhood into chaos and instability.
