Google is a search engine that delivers information based on what is available and how people search for it. Clearly, Western countries and organizations have contributed to a negative portrayal of Eritrea by emphasizing unfavorable information, often for their own political interests. The reason is clear: Eritrea has pursued self-reliance rather than depending on foreign donations for its survival, unlike countries such as Ethiopia, which rely heavily on external assistance. Some international economic assessments place Eritrea’s GDP at extremely low levels, or even near zero, raising questions about the accuracy and transparency of the data being used. Perhaps what remains difficult for outsiders to understand is how Eritrea continues to sustain itself despite limited foreign assistance and its commitment to self-reliance.

😂😂😂After seeing the poster, I was immediately reminded of my childhood in elementary school during the rule of #Mengistu Haile Mariam. I remember Ethiopian Derg soldiers carrying coils of rope, claiming they would use them to capture Eritrean fighters and tie them up to take them back to prison.
As children, we would ask the #Derg #soldiers why they were carrying so much rope. Their response was that their commanders had told them the Eritrean fighters were hungry and exhausted, so they could easily capture them by tying their hands and legs with rope.
However, after those #Ethiopian #soldiers went to the battlefield, only a few of the thousands who went would return—and those who did often seemed terrified to talk about what had happened at the front.
When I saw this poster, I laughed from the bottom of my heart because it brought back those childhood memories and reminded me of the gap between what soldiers were told to expect and what they actually experienced.
Good luck to those who believe everything they see posted online without questioning its credibility!

#Foreign#Aid Is #Ethiopia’s #Lifeline—#not the #RedSea!!!!!
We have never received assistance from other countries, nor have we ever expected to become a bigger country like Ethiopia. Eritrea relies on its own people and resources. It is not our culture to hold out a piece of cloth in front of the world, as our destabilized neighbour does.
That is why Ethiopia follows the agendas of the countries that provide donations and financial assistance. If Ethiopia fails to do what the UAE wants, those donations could stop. Foreign aid has become Ethiopia’s hands and legs for survival—not the Red Sea.
Eritrea is simply warning the world before Ethiopia attempts to invade Eritrea. If Ethiopia receives a hard blow from Eritrea, it will cry even louder than it does now, and the world will start begging Eritrea to stop.
Just be patient and wait.
Eritrea regime seems increasingly anxious of Ethiopia’s intensions & is rather desperately calling for international attention to the issue. Their adversarial attitude towards international society has however left them with few friends and allies to help in current predicament.
ETHIOPIA ― France 24 acknowledges that Ethiopian social media is increasingly flooded with fake images, recycled footage, and AI-generated propaganda, all designed to fuel fear and spread misinformation.
What the news channel may not have realized is that this is not merely a social media problem. In Ethiopia, #lying has practically become a political institution.
When the prime minister himself can lie on live television and carry on as if nothing happened, why would his online propaganda machine feel any shame?
In a country where truth is treated as an inconvenience and accountability is nowhere to be found, fake news is simply following the government's example.
What’s shocking is that he uses the #title “Dr.” while posting such blatant lies and misleading information. This reflects poorly on his credibility and judgment. The title “#Dr.” should represent knowledge, integrity, and responsibility—not be used to give credibility to misinformation. If you cannot uphold those values, you should reconsider using that title. Academic titles deserve respect, and your conduct, along with that of your leader, #AbiyAhmed, does little to earn it.

@AbrahamPostDoc
What is happening in Africa is deeply shocking and unacceptable. What concerns me most is the possibility that the #UAE may be pursuing strategic interests in #Ethiopia and #Eritrea through #PrimeMinister#Abiy#Ahmed and his #supporters. The people of both countries must remain vigilant, think critically, and reject any political agenda that threatens their sovereignty, peace, and regional stability.
Accountability!!!!!!
Here is the truth about the Port of Assab, explained by an honest and educated Ethiopian man. Can you listen to voices like his instead of blindly following those who sit behind their screens, spreading war propaganda, misinformation, and lies day and night? Such irresponsible actions fuel tensions and contribute to the tragic loss of countless Ethiopian lives, including young people and children. Those who deliberately spread false information and incite war should be held accountable and, where appropriate, banned from mass media platforms.

Renowned Ethiopian scholar Dr. Tsegaye Alarsa (Oromo) confirms that Assab belongs fully to the sovereign state of #Eritrea, as established by the African Constitution.
Denying historical facts changes nothing. Eritrea's sovereignty over Assab remains absolute. @_AfricanUnion@UN

Thank you, @Yonijoni3, for creating the map. I’m not an expert in the latest technology, so I truly appreciate your effort. My best wishes to the future nations for peaceful coexistence with one another and with their neighbouring countries.
When Ethiopia invades us, as usual, using human waves of 20 million, they might achieve a quick victory, but invaders and occupiers never last forever on foreign soil. Eritrea will emerge victorious! Adding up Resentment from different ethnic

The final outcome 👇🏿
The regime in Ethiopia has no moral right to blame other countries when it is itself waging war against its own population.
Ethiopia is burning.
The sponsors of the war are the United Arab Emirates and the expansionist Abiy.
Ethiopian Airstrikes Continue to Target Tigray Civilians
Ethiopia has intensified its air campaign in civilian-populated areas of #Tigray. This video shows residents mourning loved ones as they gather amid the ruins of homes that were reduced to rubble by the babaric airstrikes.
😆😆 #Screen#Worries !!!!!!
Those #PP party servants who deny what they already know about the strength and capabilities of the Eritrean forces (#EDF) for their own personal benefit should listen to the testimonies of their own fathers and brothers. Stop pretending to be brave warriors from behind a computer screen. True courage is demonstrated on the battlefield, not through keyboard rhetoric.

A former Ethiopian warfighter said that Eritrean troops are disciplined, active, mature, and well-equipped. So Eritreans never seek war, as it’s never a solution, but if anyone tries to provoke our borders, we won't tolerate it. @UN@_AfricanUnion@UN_Spokesperson
This is one of the pieces of evidence showing that Ethiopia is not a united country but a fragmented state struggling with deep internal divisions. Time will soon reveal whether the country will break apart into separate nations. Instead of addressing their internal problems and working toward national unity, #Ethiopia’s #Prosperity #Party (PP) #leaders appear to be trying to turn their domestic conflicts into a regional crisis to attract international attention and secure external assistance to remain in power. History will ultimately judge their actions and the consequences for Ethiopia’s future.
Oromo Special Forces burning Ethiopian flag ‼️
The genocidal regime in Ethiopia led by fascist Abiy Ahmed Ali - Oromo Special Forces caught burning the Ethiopian flag.
This is not an isolated act. The Oromo Special Force was created to exterminate the Amhara people in the Oromo region, and burning the Ethiopian flag is part of that same campaign to create an independent Oromia.
This is the ultimate goal of Abiy Ahmed Ali and Shimelis Abdisa - to build a new Oromia nation from the ruins of Ethiopia.
