Came back home after an 18 day vacation, only to find out that someone had turned my Main Gate into their private parking spot.

I had gone on vacation for 18 days.

When I finally returned home, there was a random car parked right in front of my Main Gate.

No permission.
No contact number.
And nobody in the neighborhood seemed to know who the car belonged to.

The most shocking part ?

My maid told me that the car had been parked there since the day I left.

That means it had been sitting there for nearly 18 days.

I contacted the Police for help,
but they asked me to first check with the neighbors and try to find the owner.

Even the tow truck operators refused to move the car because they were worried the owner might later take legal action against them.

But then came the most ridiculous part,

As soon as the Police finally arrived

a man and his wife came running down from the apartment next door and immediately moved the car.

For 18 days, nobody knew who the car belonged to,

But the moment the Police showed up, the owner magically appeared.

The issue is not just about bad parking.

How can someone block another person’s Main Gate for 18 days without even thinking about the inconvenience they might be causing ?

Basic civic sense means respecting other people’s space and convenience.

Someone else’s Main Gate is NOT your private parking spot.
