Chapman would perform live again or release more music. She loved her music wholeheartedly. And she would have been so happy to have seen this performance. That is the main reason I cried watching it. But there was others. 2/2
The entire Tracy Chapman self titled album this song is from is incredibly important to me because it was one of my late friends favourite albums ever. She died of breast cancer 3 years ago. She used to sing and dance to this album and talk about how much she wished 1/2
I've been thinking about how many people, myself included, responded to Tracy Chapman's performance last night by crying. Why did we cry? What were we crying for? I'll answer my own question below, but I'm curious to hear why other people cried. 1/6
