Like Tinubu, Like Gbajabiamila.
A few years ago, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari found out that the security operatives of APGA's Gov. Obiano of Anambra State, who was running for his second term, had been withdrawn. He was very upset and commanded that they be restored with immediate effect. He further instructed that a security meeting be held with Obiano to find out how he could be supported with his campaigns, just as they did with the APC candidate.
So the news making the rounds that Femi Gbajabiamila—in his capacity as Chief of Staff to Bola Ahmed Tinubu—is orchestrating internal sabotage within the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC), strike at the core of democratic norms .
Such conduct is not merely partisan hardball, its not political strategy; it represents a structural threat to political pluralism and institutional integrity.
At the heart of any functioning democracy is the principle of competitive politics—where parties organise freely, articulate alternatives, and contest power without undue interference from incumbents.
The instruction to figures like Leke Abejide and Nafiu Bala Gombe to remain within the ADC for the purpose of destabilisation subverts this principle. It weaponises infiltration as a tool of political control, eroding trust not only within parties but across the broader electoral ecosystem.
The implications are severe:
First, it normalises executive overreach. When the presidency—or its senior operatives—extends influence into the internal mechanics of opposition parties, it collapses the boundary between state power and party competition. That boundary is essential; without it, the state becomes an instrument of partisan dominance rather than a neutral arbiter.
Second, it degrades democratic choice. Voters rely on viable opposition platforms to evaluate governance alternatives. Undermining an opposition party from within distorts this choice, effectively engineering weakness where organic political competition should prevail. The result is not electoral victory—it is democratic suffocation.
Third, it invites systemic instability. Political systems that suppress dissenting structures often incubate deeper unrest. When legitimate avenues for opposition are sabotaged, aggrieved actors may resort to extra-institutional means of expression, raising the risk profile for national cohesion. These allegations are weighty, consequently, Femi Gbajabiamila’s conduct is indefensible. It reflects a troubling disposition toward consolidating power at the expense of democratic health.
Public office—particularly at the level of Chief of Staff—demands restraint, neutrality in administrative conduct, and fidelity to constitutional principles. Anything less compromises the credibility of the presidency itself.
Not that he understands what democracy means, but this is why the onus now falls squarely on Pres. Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Leadership in a democracy is not only about policy outcomes; it is equally about safeguarding the processes that legitimize power. Failure to act decisively in the face of such allegations risks signaling tacit approval, thereby weakening Nigeria’s democratic architecture.
A clear, corrective step would be to relieve Gbajabiamila of his duties in the light og the trending video. Such action would serve multiple purposes: it would reaffirm commitment to democratic norms, restore a measure of public confidence, and draw a firm line against the misuse of executive proximity for partisan manipulation.
Nigeria’s democracy, hard-won and still evolving, cannot afford the corrosion of its competitive foundations. The preservation of plurality is not optional—it is the very condition that makes democratic governance meaningful.
Pres. Tinubu, who now claims to be President Buhari, must now prove to Nigerians how he is one with Buhari, by acting against these anti-democratic actions of one of his captors.
Rt. Hon. @ChibuikeAmaechi paid a solidarity visit to Mallam @elrufai at his residence.
The visit underscores the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and continued consultation among key political leaders committed to Nigeria’s progress and democratic strengthening.
This is the Port Harcourt Railway, a modern rail facility delivered during the tenure of @ChibuikeAmaechi as Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation (2015–2022) under the administration of Muhammadu @MBuhari
It is part of the railway modernization programme, including the Port Harcourt–Aba Railway, designed to reconnect key commercial cities in the South-South and South-East regions.
This project represents:
🚆 Modern rail infrastructure you can see and use
🌍 Improved regional economic connectivity
👷 Job creation and business growth
📦 Easier movement of goods and passengers
Indeed, this is one of the most remarkable legacy projects, a tangible development, not just paperwork, but infrastructure Nigerians can feel and benefit from.

This is not the first time H.E. @ChibuikeAmaechi has campaigned in markets. He has always connected directly with the grassroots long before now.
The attempt by some @ObidientsGM to rewrite history must stop.
@PeterObi did not make @ChibuikeAmaechi or @atiku take any political position. These are experienced leaders who make independent decisions based on conviction and national interest.
Months ago, when both leaders gave significant financial support to Dr. MO, there was no noise, no propaganda, and no manufactured narrative.
Let’s focus on facts, not fiction. Politics should be based on truth, not emotional spin.
@emekabk21 Your article is too vague politically.
CRA legacy are still standing for him.

Make your thorough findings before, else you miss inform the gullible public.
@OlayinkaLere Stop miss informing the public.
This road was almost completed by late president Buhari's administration.
President Tinubu met the finishing stage.
