@NormEisen @RepBeatty @DDAction_ You’re so proud to remove this injustice!! You just killed the cash cow. Now, YOU can come up with the 100M+ to revamp the entire Center!! Ask all your constituents to donate! Stupid Dum 🫏! (🎶 YMCA )

HIS NAME IS KAYLUB GIAMANCO. THE DAD WHO STOPPED THE OREGON SCHOOL GUNMAN. The 36-year-old carpenter was driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots at Silver Rail Elementary, where his two daughters attend school. He followed the gunman inside and fatally shot him, stopping the attack, according to his brother’s account reported by the New York Post. But the detail that breaks my heart: His brother says Kaylub doesn’t feel like a hero because he couldn’t save more people. Three children and a teacher were killed. Another child and a teacher were critically injured. Kaylub couldn’t save everyone. But authorities credit the armed community member who intervened with preventing more deaths. Please share his story and pray for this dad, the grieving families and those still fighting to recover. What would you want Kaylub to hear today?

It was a rough visit to the shelter for my daughter and me. We went to drop off items belonging to our sweet black lab-greyhound that we’d had to put down a few weeks before. We decided to check out the shelter while we were there. It’s not your standard shelter. This place has horses and goats and bunnies as well. There’s lots to see! We’re walking around, checking it out. None of the animals are paying us much attention. Then, along one of the dog runs this black lab mix comes bounding out along his run. He doesn’t bark but gets very vocal and talkative. It’s funny actually! We give him some attention then begin walking to check out more of the facility. He runs along the run as if to say “where ya going? I’m right here. I’m your guy!” We check more of the facility and this dog sees us coming back and starts with us again. My daughter is insistent that we can’t leave him here. We have a volunteer take him out of the kennels. This 100 pound girl sits in the grass and then this 80 pound lab climbs into her lap. He’s facing her but tilts his head back to look at us. Then he waves his paw at us. It’s hilarious! How can you say no to that? We fill out the paperwork that day, a Friday. On Sunday we are approved to pick up our new boy on Monday. Pure chance brought both that dog and us to the shelter at the same time. Here’s our boy Chance on his car ride to his new home. Rescue dogs are awesome! Hope you’ll consider the rescue option if you’re looking for a new pet

🎉 NUTMEG’S FREEDOM RIDE 🎉 Nutmeg was one of the most overlooked dogs at the shelter, and she became one of the longest residents. Her family had tearfully surrendered her. Week after week, month after month, she waited for someone to see her. Someone to choose her.... Then... this amazing thing happened ❣️ Sometimes, it does take a village !

🇺🇸 HERO! The armed man who RAN AFTER and NEUTRALIZED the Bend, OR elementary school shooter has been identified as Kaylub Giamanco, his brother tells NBC This man should receive the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM! Kaylub was reportedly driving by the school on his lunch break when he saw the gunman enter the school, deciding to bolt after him and take him down before police were anywhere close. This private citizen risked his life to save other people’s kids. Just incredible. Very American.
