The Supreme Court’s rejection of the mifepristone ban safeguards access for over 70,000 woman in Oklahoma who rely on medication abortion annually. This decision ensures continued reproductive healthcare and upholds women’s rights both in our home state and across the nation.
The Supreme Court unanimously preserved access to mifepristone Thursday, a medication that was used in nearly two-thirds of all abortions in the U.S. last year.
It was the court’s first abortion decision since conservative justices overturned Roe v. Wade two years ago.
