THE AYEDE TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION UPGRADE
Project Timeline:
The Ayede Transmission Substation upgrade in Oyo State is set to be completed in line with Phase One of the Presidential Power Initiative, which aims to add 4,000 megawatts of transmission capacity across Nigeria within three years. The project is one of five priority projects under PPI Phase 1, alongside Offa, Onitsha, New Abeokuta, and Sokoto.
Measurable Milestones:
The project includes the replacement of a burnt 150MVA, 330/132kV transformer and the construction of a new 132kV line bay. Once completed, this intervention will increase the station's transmission wheeling capacity by 120 megawatts.
Expected Impact:
The upgraded substation will improve grid reliability in Oyo State and surrounding regions. Together with the other four priority projects, it will contribute to a stronger, more resilient national grid.
So by your logic:
To raise awareness, you have to share fake news?
Your idea of contributing to the insecurity conversation is to promote false alarm?
So if you want to warn the people about fire, you first set the village ablaze?
Or to fight darkness, must you extinguish the little light that remains?
You want to cure malaria, but you think you should first of all infect the patient with a little cancer?
You are impossible. And at this rate we won't be wrong to assume you have been contracted by the Bandits as their chief influencer. For those that cry wolf when none exist are merely training the village to ignore danger. And then vigilance becomes ridicule and warning mere entertainment...
Be warned Boy - Act your age.
CASH PRESERVATION IS NOT INVESTING---Why Many Nigerians Confuse The Two
=======
The article will clearly distinguish between cash preservation and investment, because many Nigerians unknowingly treat them as the same thin
Ask the average Nigerian where they feel safest keeping their money, and the answer is usually the same:
"My bank account."
The balance doesn't fluctuate. The numbers remain intact. It feels safe.
But safety and wealth creation are not the same thing.
One of the most misunderstood concepts in personal finance is the difference between preserving cash and investing money.
They serve different purposes.
Cash preservation is designed to protect your principal and provide liquidity.
Investment is designed to grow your purchasing power over time.
The difference is important.
A Treasury Bill, Money Market Fund, fixed deposit, savings account, or PiggyVest Safelock may help preserve capital and earn modest returns. These are cash-preservation assets.
Their primary purpose is stability, not wealth creation.
On the other hand, shares of profitable companies, mutual funds, businesses, real estate, farmland, and other productive assets are investment assets.
Their purpose is growth.
One protects money.
The other seeks to multiply it.
Many people spend years focusing entirely on protection.
The problem is that inflation never sleeps.
A person can keep ₦5 million in a low-yield account for years and feel comfortable because the balance remains unchanged.
Yet the purchasing power of that money may be quietly shrinking.
The figures remain the same.
The value does not.
That is why investors think differently.
They ask a simple question:
Is my money sitting somewhere, or is it working somewhere?
Cash is useful.
Everyone needs emergency savings.
Everyone needs liquidity.
Everyone needs money set aside for short-term obligations.
But cash itself is not a productive asset.
It produces little.
✓A productive asset generates value.
✓A farm produces crops.
✓A factory produces goods.
✓A business produces profits.
✓A rental property produces income.
✓A listed company produces earnings and dividends.
The stock market simply allows ordinary people to own pieces of productive businesses.
That does not mean every stock is a good investment.
It does not mean investors should ignore risk.
But it does mean that long-term wealth is usually built through ownership of productive assets rather than the accumulation of idle cash.
The lesson is simple:
If you need money in three months, focus on preservation.
If you want wealth ten years from now, focus on productive assets.
Because preserving cash and creating wealth are not the same objective.
One protects today's money.
The other protects tomorrow's purchasing power.
And in the long run, that distinction changes everything.
You want Biafra, hating and disparaging Nigeria! Yet, your representatives at the National Assembly NEVER for once push it and you daily troop in to every part of Nigeria, especially Lagos. Love Nigeria, wake up from your illusion and stop deceiving yourselves!😀
I already bet on Seplat before Tony Elumelu took over the company. After he took over, I increased my shareholding by over 200%. If you doubt me, drop N1m to see my data. If I am lying, you get N5m back. If true, you learn a cheap N1m lesson.
I normally would leave this sort of decision to my financial adviser but I instructed that, 'irrespective of what you buy, please I want a lot of Seplat. This is Tony stuff'.
If you are paying attention, you must know where the numbers are since that Tony deal. Lol.
---------
There are business leaders I will never bet against. That's exactly why if I receive any payments today, I'll simply expand my UBA position. This is not a financial advice, just reporting objective (but personal) history.
PS:
1. If this reads like a paid ad to you, take it that way. There are other ways to find out, ask to see the numbers quoted above. For a small fee. Seeing as I don't owe you.
2. I don't like talking about money publicly. But I can't stand Tony Elumelu being put in some of these thoughtless conversations (by people with zero clue as to how anything works), and still remain quiet. I am loyal to my people, more so to those that consistently make me money.
3. If UBA were to pay for this post, they'd refuse to pay when I tell them what it'd cost. If they choose to pay after seeing this, I'll tell them to pay me in more equity.
4. Mr Elumelu would never have to pay me to say what I think of him.
5. No one asked for this, I posted it because I can.
If you have questions, please ask. But you will pay for answers. I don't talk about money on Twitter. That's not my forte. Making it is. EOD.
Feminism destroyed Germany, Europe, and generally the West.
We listened to women too much, let women vote too much, and allowed women into politics too much.
I say this as a Woman.
I don't hate women, I hate what women have become today.
And leaders, we are not.
Women should never lead.

If one day you become rich, remember these ten things:
1. Don't tell anyone, including your parents.
2. Pay off all debts owed to friends, banks, and online lenders first.
3. Once the money reaches your account, don't rush to move it around. Let it sit for a while and think clearly.
4. Don't purchase a house immediately or rent in a higher neighborhood.
5. Don't rush to quit your job right away.
6. Don't acquire a car or luxury goods yet.
7. Don't go into business with friends, relatives, or classmates.
8. If you have children, do everything possible to prevent them from knowing you're rich.
9. Maintain the status quo. Act like nothing has changed.
10. Be cautious with your information and avoid sharing your situation with everyone.
Most people who come into money lose it all because they broke every one of these rules.

Dear Mr. @PeterObi ,
I have one question for you sir; why did you leave the Labour Party (LP)? I won’t ask why you left APGA and PDP.
Serious politicians bleed for their parties. They don’t run to another party each time they lost an election. This is the secret of the people that built APC.
Love APC or hate it, it did not emerge overnight as a dominant party. It was built through years of coalition, sacrifice, internal negotiation, and grassroots commitment. Many individuals invested in it long before it became electorally rewarding. Some remain without appointments to this day, yet they continue to contribute to its structure and growth.
Mr. Peter, your behavior worries me and only further strengthen my assumption that you are not ready to build a new Nigeria, you are only interested in what to gain from it.
The Ibos tribe are not a long time thinker, that’s why they will forever be in the shadow of Yoruba.
They killed Isaac Boro, that request for Niger dalta country, just to start requesting for Biafra.
Azikuwe almost jail Awolowo for treason, just because he asked for succession clause, just for his ibo people to later start asking for the sussecion clause.
Ironsi Abolished the regional government on behalf of his Ibos brother, only for them to start crying for the regional government in less than a year.
They have been attacking the Yoruba people since 2023, only to come and start crying Yoruba are not supporting ibo presidency.

There is no fulfillment for parents who raise weak children. They will always be disappointed once their romanticized idea about life doesn’t match reality. The promise of the utopia is a myth. We must confront difficulties and see our obstacles as the path. There are no shortcuts. 🪴
