@Moa_NBO@Nonze@sholard_mancity I talk to cows, goats, rabbits, and chicken - people find weird. However, if I talk to snake, mimi ni mchawi. I have no idea where they got that from.
@themaxgudi@sholard_mancity That woman must be protected by all means. I am in the process of learning how to whisper to snakes. Mtanipata ana anaconda kadhaa majaliwa. Nyie ndio wachawi. Wivu ndio mko nayo.
@Sir__Ely@lynn_ngugi1 I thought I was crazy juzi. I bought their 3hr bundle but I didn't have any Internet conmection until 30 minutes later kama package inaisha.

Kiambu County was meant to be the food supplier for Nairobi City. Its abundant arable land produced Coffee, Tea, Cereals, Vegetables & Fruits for City residents & for export.
Then Kiambu land owners with connivance of Kiambu County Government have decided to convert the County into a concrete jungle of bed-sitters!
Soon, Kenya will be importing food from Uganda to feed its City Citizens and the residents of Kiambu who were once farmers!
Without self-sufficiency in food production, a country can never be developed!
There's nothing like Plus Size, you're either Fat, Medium or Petite! Women should know that 99% of men love petite and medium sized women. Chubby women are loyal because they can't run from one man to another. But you see these broom sticks, they sweep every floor. Chesaa!!
In the next 10 years the amount of subscriptions that people who dnt unplug from the system will have to pay will be mind boggling. Go buy some land anywhere you can plant food and keep some animals, harvest rain water or dig wells . Learn a physical skill and perfect it . Winter is coming.
THE THIKA SUPERHIGHWAY CURSE: WHY KIAMBU ROAD RESIDENTS MUST DELAY AND RESIST THE NEW PROJECT
Kiambu Road residents should move quickly to delay or derail the proposed highway project for as long as possible.
The Thika Superhighway offers a clear and painful precedent of what happens when corrupt road agencies and politically connected tenderpreneurs are allowed to design major infrastructure.
The Thika Superhighway, completed under President Mwai Kibaki, was sold to Kenyans as a transformative project. In reality, it became a masterclass in how highway construction can be weaponised to kill small businesses while enriching well-connected interests.
HOW EXITS WERE MANIPULATED TO FAVOUR THE CONNECTED
The most damaging aspect was not the road itself, but the deliberate placement of exits. Instead of serving communities and existing businesses, exits were strategically located to benefit large hotels, malls, universities, and powerful institutions.
From Thika towards Nairobi, key exits were created for:
• The National Intelligence Service (NIS) and La Mada Hotel
• Safari Park Hotel and USIU
• TRM Mall
• KU UniCity Mall
• Spur Mall
• Juja City Mall and Juja Preparatory School
A footbridge was even built specifically for the Vincentian Retreat Centre, a facility used mainly on weekends.
Meanwhile, hundreds of small indigenous petrol stations, food joints, mechanics, and retail businesses along the corridor were systematically starved of access.
To secure an exit, one had to bribe officials at KeNHA.
This was not poor planning. It was economic sabotage dressed as development. Small businesses died while multinational petrol stations, foreign restaurant chains, and large franchise pharmacies moved in.
KeNHA and county officials ensure street lights remained faulty in certain sections, forcing drivers to gravitate toward the well-lit, secure-looking malls and fuel stations at night.
Even government institutions were not spared. Utalii Hotel and College - publicly owned facilities - were denied proper exits, effectively sabotaging them to benefit private businesses along the corridor. This is what happens when one government agency is allowed to destroy another for the benefit of politically connected private interests.
WILLIAM KABOGO’S KENYATTA HIGHWAY DISASTER IN THIKA
The damage was not limited to the Superhighway. Then Kiambu Governor William Kabogo’s retarded project to “fix” Kenyatta Highway in Thika Town turned a once-functional single-lane road with dual access into a dual carriageway with a median wall.
The result was catastrophic for local businesses. Users had to drive hundreds of metres in congested traffic to access the other side of the road. Established businesses such as Tusky’s Chania and Coconut Grill Hotel suffered massive losses.
Many travellers began bypassing Thika Town entirely, stopping instead in Kenol. What was meant to be an improvement accelerated the economic decline of Thika’s central business district.
THE PATTERN IS CLEAR
These mega projects rarely serve ordinary citizens. They serve tenderpreneurs, politically connected contractors, foreign interests, and large corporate players. Small indigenous businesses are displaced through design, not accident.
Gentrification follows, with foreign chains replacing local operators. The same agencies tasked with development become instruments of economic exclusion.
Kiambu Road residents are now staring at a similar fate. Once construction begins in earnest, the same logic will apply: exits and access points will be negotiated by the powerful, while small businesses along the corridor will be gradually choked out of existence.
A CALL FOR RESISTANCE AND BETTER CHOICES
Residents along Kiambu Road still have a narrow window to organise, document concerns, and push back against rushed implementation. Delay is not sabotage; it is self-preservation.
The choice, for now, still lies with the people who live and work along it.
