Someone once told me that fear of heights is not really the fear of falling but the fear that the irrational urge to throw yourself over the edge will become irresistible. True in my experience
Church of Uganda has received with great joy the news of the election of Rt Rev Dr Manasseh Gahima, Bishop of Gahini, as the next Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church of Rwanda.
We warmly congratulate Bishop Gahima upon his election to this important responsibility of leadership in the Church of God.
Bishop Gahima brings to this calling a wealth of experience in both Church and public service.
Before entering full-time Church ministry, he served in education and local government and later took on senior leadership responsibilities within the Diocese of Gahini. He was consecrated Bishop in 2017 and has served as Bishop of Gahini since 2019.
Commenting on his election, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, said:
โI have had the privilege of meeting and interacting with Bishop Manasseh on several international fora, the most recent being GAFCON G26 in Abuja, Nigeria.
He has always demonstrated a deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, faithful and humble leadership, and a passion for the mission of the Church. I warmly congratulate him upon his election and pray that God will grant him wisdom, grace and strength as he takes on this new responsibility.โ @Archbp_COU
