1/ Everyone in Nigeria has a location. Now every location has a postcode.
Today, on our Independence Day, NIPOST launches the National Digital Postcode System. 🧵 #KnowYourPostcode
2/ For generations, Nigerians have given directions instead of addresses: "after the mosque," "opposite the big mango tree." Parcels get lost, emergency services lose precious minutes, and businesses can't reach customers.
3/ The new system gives every home, shop, farm, school and office a precise, digital alphanumeric postcode, mapped and managed from our new NIPOST GIS lab.
4/ This is more than mail. A precise address is the foundation for e-commerce and last-mile delivery, emergency response, access to banking and credit, and better planning of public services.
5/ My deepest gratitude to President @officialABAT for his vision and support under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and to the Hon. Minister @bosuntijani, whose leadership in building Nigeria's digital economy made this possible.
6/ Thank you to the NIPOST @NipostNgn family, our partners, and every Nigerian who brought this together. This is national infrastructure built by Nigerians, for Nigerians.

Day 3 (English) of me telling you to avoid Libya.
The risk of abduction is high.
I met a Nigerian who was abducted, tortured, used as a slave by the Arabs for 8 months, and he still paid a ransom for his freedom.
I met a young man from Edo who was abducted and sent to Central Africa Republic (CAR), then got sold to a second set of kidnappers. After two captivity spells and five months on the road without getting to his destination in Libya, he made a U-turn to Nigeria.
I was almost kidnapped myself.
And guess what? If you get abducted and you pay the ransom quickly, problem. If you pay it late, problem!

Day 2 (Pidgin version) of 10 reasons not to go to Libya.
You will be going through connection men. Connection men are evil and criminally-minded. Your death in the desert is their gain.
You die during the trip, they get to keep all the money you paid them.

Day 2 (English version) of 10 reasons not to go to Libya.
You will be going through connection men. Connection men are evil and criminally-minded.
They'd rather you die than arrive in the desert in one piece. Your death puts more money in their pocket!

Creating wealth from the stock market is not a passive activity. You need to actively monitor the companies you invest in and evaluate your investment thesis regularly,so as to know When to keep or exit an asset. Don't just buy a company stock and forget about it
Some journeys are written in footprints, I stitched mine into fabric.
From Arìnrìn Àjò, the Traveler’s Pant, to Àlàbí cargo trousers and shorts, each piece carries a story of movement, heritage, craftsmanship, and identity.
What story will you wear?
I spent 47 days as one of several thousand African migrants seeking to enter Europe through the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea.
Story on @fijnigeria tomorrow, Thursday and on Friday.
For the man who appreciates craftsmanship, culture, and pieces that start conversations, Arìnrìn Àjò offers something truly distinctive.
