God did something about two thousand years ago, in the presence of witnesses, so unbelievable that many won't believe it. It is our job to share it and to live in a way that people see it and draw to it. The only way to do that is to get to know Him better!
@rabbriansamuel On some of the rest. That is what leads the world to know us by love. That wonderful mystery by which all who call on the name of the Lord have become the seed of Abraham. Acts 15 shows that the apostles were careful not to encumber that simple message with anything.
@rabbriansamuel Love the question. My opinion should only lead to what Jesus and his apostles taught. Both the OT and NT point to Jesus. Only Jesus can save. That is the adoption. The rest we should do in gratitude to him. I believe you and I are brothers even though we may disagree on some..
@DrFrankTurek Do not study apologetics in order to win arguments or just gain knowledge. Look at the study of apologetics as a way to learn how a living God has revealed himself to his creation. The overflow of awe and love for God is what allows you to share in the right way.
@sportsiren@RazorbackSB I can't imagine a better gameday experience than hanging out with @CanaanSandy That is not meant as a slight to @sportsiren at all. She is the best but Canaan is Arkansas' Rock Star!!
@MikeWingerii@pastorlocke There are several who could moderate such a conversation well. Ruslan is a great choice. Gavin Ortlund, Justin Brierly. I've never personally met any of you guys and would do it for free! Whoever does it should have a button to cut off both mics to maintain civility.
@MimsCourtney The only way to fight it is not to watch the extra games. I already refuse to watch the play-in games to get from 68 to 64. No one should start watching until it gets to 64.
@6vaughts It has been six years since my dad passed and I still miss him every day. Music is one of my favorite things to go to when I am down and the song "Scars" by MercyMe is always a good one to remind me that he is well and I will be too!
@ArtemisConsort I try to study apologetics for what it teaches me about God, not for argument.
When people express doubts to me, I will share why I am a believer, but my job description doesn't include talking someone into something.
Always seek truth. My faith withstands my questions.
@reachjulieroys@EdYoung@lanceford Actually amypastor or teacher who doesn't tell the people who are being taught on a regular basis that it is their job to test what he or she is saying against scripture, should be removed immediately.
@ImBreckWorsham Saying whatever pops into your head is never wisdom. Telling people what they want to hear, regardless of its truth, defines a bad politician.
@alt_w_v_g I had a small pile of sand to use in the backyard, delivered to my home and placed on the driveway next to my fence. The next morning I injured a knee and had to have surgery. I quickly got letters from the HOA about the sand. No one asked about my health. Kindness is gone too!
@RazorbackBSB@PallettePeyton@CleGuardians@HogsPlayerDev I never had a clue about him back in the day when he was a skinny young kid on Benton's football team. He was always a hard worker and fine young man. It is fun to watch success!
