Year five loved welcoming St Thomasโ Leesfield @leesfieldschool to Roundthorn. All the children got to experience toasting marshmallows over a fire with Mrs Schofield, PE (games and dodgeball) with Mr Hatton and make scrap books with artist, Claire Mather.
Year Three have loved meeting their @BroadfieldPri friends for the first time this year as part of our @OldhamLinking project! They have enjoyed their art themed afternoon and making new friends.
This afternoon, we are drawing portraits of each other as part of @OldhamLinking with @StMarysCE. We have some great artists in our schools. We have also discovered a fantastic partnership between two pupils with the same name! Talk about linking! ๐ #TogetherWeCanAchieve

Year 4 have had a brilliant day at Castleshaw. They have learned vital mapping/orienteering skills such as setting the map, using the key of a map and then putting this all into action to get themselves back to the Castleshaw centre. Well done Y4 ๐

It is lovely to welcome our visitors and friends from St Thomas Werneth into school today to share a multi-faith workshop and activities in school. @OldhamLinking

What a fantastic day Y4 have had meeting our linking school St Agnes today. The children were able to get to know one another and and celebrate the similarities and differences between their schools and the surrounding areas. They used this to create amazing, new school logos.

The school council had a chance to work along side @StMarysCE and put their questions to the Deputy Mayor of Oldham on Friday as part of the @OldhamLinking. This was a great experience for everyone involved. It's safe to say we have some fantastic young leaders in our schools!
