@ByJimbob@sanderson1611 This is the point! When they say Christ and the Bible are one and the same, they are either denying that Christ is the second person of the trinity, or they are saying the Bible is a person. Crazy.
@Rach4Patriarchy@Pastor_Gabe@paleochristcon I don’t get it. Do evangelicals think that making disciples means walking up to random people and giving them a synopsis derived from some kind of personal interpretation of portions of biblical text they read?
@Rach4Patriarchy@RuslanKD When you mentioned “branding” it reminds me of how St. John said “he must increase but I must decrease”
@Ruslan seems to be saying the opposite, discarding the truth for status. “I must increase so that he may increase” would this not be hubris, antithetical to humility?
@AutismCapital Yes, humble yourself and allow yourselves to be humiliated. This will expose their ideology and dark deeds. Self defense should be used as a last resort to stop violence. But never with excessive or overwhelming violence. And never to be rejoiced. Resist not evil.
@Rach4Patriarchy I do not think it’s coincidental that in scripture God proclaims himself “I AM”, he is who he says he is. And that we are created in his image. But those that oppose God with radical ideology say “no I am who I say I am” “I make my own image” thus making themselves their own God.
@DOGE__news What wins people over is dignity in the face of humiliation. Humility requires that you allow yourself to be humiliated without defending yourself. This is vital when exposing evil.
@HandForgedPaper@Riley_Gaines_ Yeah Christians go to church cause they’re sinners and want to be healed… where else would they go? Alcoholics go to AA because they want to stop drinking what’s new?
