Actually the mainstream stuff I have seen _has_ been pushing the "he's a saint" narrative: an ICU nurse. A saluter of veterans. Good son. Lover of puppies.

There are about 12,000 ICE officers.
There are about 35,000 sworn NYPD. The latter have been filmed (by themselves and others) in almost every interaction for 10 years. And yet NYPD has had fewer questionable incidents over years than ICE has had over a few months.
