@HindArmy_1@tathvamasi6 If your only repeated argument is that llm's improve with usage then bhai maaf Karo 🙏🙏🙏.
Yes I have a paid license for Claude and Gemini, but also check deepseek to see where they stand as of today.
How much have you used sarvam? Preaching coems easy to ignorants.
I’ve had a number of conversations with folks inside and outside government about the current situation with Anthropic, and here is what I believe to be true:
— As we know, Anthropic publicly released its Mythos class models earlier this week under the commercial name Fable.
— Fable is Mythos with guardrails. But if those guardrails fail, then you’ve exposed Mythos and its advanced cyber capabilities to people who shouldn’t have them. (Keep in mind that Anthropic itself widely promoted the idea that Mythos was a cyberweapon and needed to be regulated as such. They asked for government regulation of Mythos and championed the guardrails on Fable. If there is a vulnerability — big or small — it is Anthropic’s responsibility to patch.)
— A highly credible trusted partner of both Anthropic and the USG who was testing Fable came forward with a jailbreak of those guardrails. The Admin asked Dario to fix the jailbreak or de-deploy the model. Dario refused.
— In their blog post, Anthropic defended its decision by saying the jailbreak isn’t serious. That is not what the trusted partner and the USG believe; nor is that kind of minimizing language consistent with Anthropic’s brand as the AI safety company. It’s difficult to fathom how they could claim a jailbreak allowing operability of a cyber weapon could be defined as not “serious.”
— In the past, Anthropic has always said that safety must be top priority and taken super seriously. In this case, Anthropic prioritized the continued offering of the consumer model over safety.
— In reaction, the Admin issued the export control. The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community.
— The Admin’s hope now is that Anthropic remediates the safety issue, the export control is lifted, and Fable goes back into general release. The Admin wants all of this to happen as soon as possible. It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority.
— Those trying to misdirect and tie this action to the prior DoW/Anthropic issues are wrong. The Admin values Anthropic’s technical capabilities and feels that this issue, while serious, should be easily resolved. The ball is in Anthropic’s court.
@mchellap what is stopping government on floating a 100B USD contract to build an ai company where babus are not allowed to interfere with and maybe directly monitored by someone like nandan nilekani ?
OpenAI founder Sam Altman said it’s pretty hopeless for Indian companies to try and compete with them.
Dear @sama, From one CEO to another..
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
@Divyansh91565 Don't you remember 2 years back when Altman declared that India cannot build an ai model. The then ceo of TechM posted - "challenge accpeted".
Imagine the incompetence and ignorance of a ceo.
Then how can you even expect an average indian to understand what goes in building it.
@thekaipullai Learn from deepseek and other chinese models, use the ingenuity of space missions and we can make a workable one at much less price, but that will never be good enough like anthropic and openai models.
@thekaipullai only sensible Indian post on the sovereign AI, whatever is that supposed to mean. I would advocate rather completely abandoning sunken money on sarvam ai, and government to give some good billion dollars contract to a consortium of IT MNC's including US companies.
@katchi_sera@thekaipullai in fact they went against pentagon and survived.
Imagine if a company in India refuse to pay the bribe to an ias, the company and its founders will get eradicated forever.
While people like @Tejasvi_Surya and @ARanganathan72 think that the real problem is the usa government.
@TanmayJain5114 Neither can you access it by opening a company in usa unles its founder is an american citizen who is raedy to serve prison for 40 years for espionage and smuggling.
@TanmayJain5114 Stupid post based on incomplete information. fyi, Sicne last month, many companies in usa have access to mythos, where every company is granting access to its employees based on the citizenship.
And, no you cannot access fable 5 by just using vpn or getting a us number.
@UrinalCake619@nullbyteghost@VedxntR ha ha! Another cheapo spotted who scammed the h1-b visa to usa, and is now afraid of real talent going through the Visa.
it's simple, if you and your kid is dumb enough, you don't deserve to have a job anyway. keep crying!!!
@nullbyteghost@VedxntR And thousands of idiotic youtube channels in name of each corrupt babu of India. And most of the followers of these channels are guys who cheat even in their class 10 exams.
@HindArmy_1@tathvamasi6 Tomorrow if the government makes an unsafe car or sell you an auto rickshaw in name of a car, are you going to treat it like a car in name of supporting?
This sounds so much like socialism of Indira times which threw India into so much backwardness.
