@JezCorden I have it and it’s solid. Def not for the the faint of heart. You have to fiddle around to get games optimized to take advantage of the system. I can squeeze 2 hour playing hogwarts at 40fps. The big screen is easy on the eyes compared to LCD Deck or Ally.

Now both the Ally and Legion Go have the ability to change vram settings in the bios. Moving to 6 makes a world of difference in performance.

@Xbudz Feel that much ram is compensating for poor intel performance. Intel doesn’t have a great track record with integrated video.

Adjusted the vram is the ROG Ally from 4 to 6. Much better. Hogwarts was really clunky, and now getting locked 30.

Ally has been revived and updated. Three hours. There is a downfall of windows handheld gaming. They need to come up with something better than squeezing a full OS into a tiny box.

Spent the past few days with the OLED Steam Deck and it is way more than just a screen upgrade. Don’t sleep on this.

I found the xbplay app during the @Steam sale. If you have the deck and are intimidated to go thru Linux to setup Xcloud gaming, get the app. You have to pay ($6 USD roughly) but it takes all the work out of streaming Xbox cloud games.
