Investigative journalist @NickShirleyy says a California bill he calls the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” is designed to silence citizen journalists and whistleblowers exposing fraud.

Speaking with LindellTV’s @CaraCastronuova, Shirley pointed to California's AB 2624, legislation he says was introduced after his investigations uncovered alleged fraud involving immigrant-related programs and hospice services.

“Politicians now know if you use immigrants, you can commit a lot of fraud and get away with it.”

According to Shirley, the bill could impose fines on journalists and citizens who film or report on certain immigration service providers if their reporting causes “reasonable fear.”

Shirley argues the legislation would have a chilling effect on investigative reporting and make it harder to expose corruption.

“If you see something, say something, film something, do something.”

He also credited @ElonMusk’s @X platform for restoring freedom of speech and freedom of the press online.

“Anybody can post on X and it can go viral.”

Karmelo Anthony’s family says they have no money left for an appeal.

That's raising a lot of eyebrows considering more than $650,000 was donated on his behalf.

Many people contributed believing the money would be used to fight his legal case. Now, after reports of relocation expenses and an upgraded lifestyle, the family claims the funds are gone.

If over half a million dollars isn't available for an appeal, donors have every right to ask where the money went.
