This also is deeply misleading imo -
The President’s Executive Order does not give ranchers a new right to process and sell their own meat across state lines. It also does not legalize interstate sales of custom-exempt meat. It actually does not repeal a single identified regulation.
Instead, it directs the USDA to promote its own existing programs, create a website, and report back in 60 days. So basically, we may get a website out of the deal.
And notice this wording: ranchers “should be able” to sell across state lines. Yes they should — but just saying that does nothing to affirmatively make it happens.
Farmers could already process animals for personal use; federally inspected meat could already cross state lines; and qualified state-inspected processors could already participate in the CISP program.
Presenting an Executive Order to study and promote existing programs as though the President just opened interstate markets is nothing more than political marketing.
🚨Just in: President Trump has officially signed an executive order requiring Country-of-Origin Labeling on foreign beef
“So this order also will require country of origin labeling across all foreign beef.”
The judge in the Lindsay Clancy trial intends to declare a mistrial. She will now go back into hospital custody while the prosecution decides whether to retry her for first-degree murder. May justice - one day - be done.
I’m just repeating what a few other women already said out loud:
If Lindsay Clancy walks on this, every woman in a high-stakes job just got a new target on her back.
Female pilot? Cool. Now the first thing people will ask is whether she’s hormonal, postpartum, or one bad night from crashing a plane into a mountain.
Female president? You want the nuclear codes in the hands of someone who can snap and then call it “a psychosis”?
That’s the door this verdict opens. And it won’t close.
If she is not found guilty of murdering those three kids, women don’t get compassion.
We get suspicion. Forever.
Prosecute her as a murderer, or watch one “crazy bitch” torch the credibility of every woman who still has to prove she can be trusted with other people’s lives.
Dolly Parton’s commitment to early childhood reading has inspired millions in Tennessee. We are honoring her legacy by preserving the Imagination Library.
Today, @SenBoWatson and I announced for the state to fund 100% of the imagination library. This follows investing an additional $4.5 billion in state dollars in k-12, and $200 million in TN Accelerating Literacy and Learning Corps which has lead TN to be ranked 18th in k-12 education and 4th for reading proficiency growth!
JUST THE MESSENGER HERE! The heat is on this week & the humidity is also building! Thursday looks like the hottest day as we could hit 100 with feels like temps over 105+ in most spots! Get ready to sweat!
This weekend, the Tennessee State Capitol will be lit pink in honor of @DollyParton.
Thankful for the partnership of @CSexton25 and @ltgovmcnally to celebrate Dolly’s remarkable life, enduring legacy, and immeasurable impact on the world.
At a place where Tennessee welcomes the world, it is fitting that BNA would bear @DollyParton’s name.
Today, in partnership with @Fly_Nashville, we announced our intent to honor Tennessee’s favorite daughter and her indelible legacy.

So, hormones are so dangerous they can make you crazy enough to kill your kids, but totally fine to give to anyone who wants to transition, including kids?
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT FOR THE LUNAR ECLIPSE!
Get ready to look up as Earth's deep shadow will cover almost the entire moon tonight! Most of the Central and Eastern U.S. will have prime viewing for the entire event, while folks out West will catch the show starting right around moonrise. The partial eclipse will officially begin at 9:33 pm CDT and will peak around 11:13 pm CDT, which is when almost the entire lunar surface will be cast in that rusty red color! The shadow will then slowly recede until the event completely wraps up at 12:53 am. This will be the last lunar eclipse of this magnitude until 2029!
If a bill were introduced in the Tennessee legislature to rename Nashville’s airport Dolly Parton International, it would pass unanimously.
Let’s make it happen, fellow Tennesseans.
Rare is the one who climbs to the pinnacle of fame, then scoffs at its allure, only to retain the genuine humility that defines them.
Dolly Parton was one of a kind, who loved people, her work, her family, and her Lord. Tennessee has forever been changed – enhanced – by her, and will never be quite the same without Dolly.
