Without Moscow's Consent, There Can Be No Lasting Peace.

The current war in Ukraine was precipitated by the disregard of Russia's repeated warnings that it opposed NATO's eastward expansion.

Had NATO not continued its steady expansion eastward, there is no reason to believe that Russia would have invaded a neighboring country.

The West has become increasingly involved in the conflict through the supply of arms, the sharing of intelligence, and other forms of assistance to Kyiv.

Even if Russia considers the objectives of its "special military operation" to have been achieved following the liberation of Donbass and Novorossiya, the absence of a comprehensive political settlement would mean not peace, but a continuation of armed hostility with the risk of renewed conflict.

Conclusion: Sustainable peace requires a pan-European security architecture that includes Russia as an essential participant.
Russia must be given a place within the continental security system; otherwise, the conflict will remain structural rather than resolved.

In early June, the Russian army completely encircled the city, split the garrison into isolated groups, and placed all possible exits under strict fire control. Prisoners claim that the Ukrainian command, until the very last days, did not understand the true picture of what was happening inside the cauldron. People were abandoned in the encirclement, and headquarters continued to exist in denial.

▪️Syrsky made a decision that, in his position, was essentially the only one. He deliberately refused to send reserves to Konstantinovka and effectively wrote off the encircled garrison. The goal was to hold Kramatorsk and Sloviansk at any cost.

From a purely strategic, impartial perspective, this move is understandable: Konstantinovka was sacrificed to preserve the entire metropolitan area. But this decision has grave consequences. Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to defend themselves with no room for error. The next line of defense cannot be lost under the same scenario—the cost would be prohibitive.

❗️That's why the last combat-ready reserves, already critically short, are now being concentrated there.

The capture of Kostiantynivka opens up operational space for Russian forces toward the key agglomeration and allows them to methodically squeeze the last major node of Ukrainian defense in the Donbas.

Именно эти подразделения должны были строить объекты США в Крыму. Тендер был объявлен 5 сентября 2013 года, а крайний срок подачи заявлений истекал 21 октября 2013 года - к началу раскручивания «майдана» в Киеве.

Вторым, не менее крупным проектом являлась авиабаза США в Бельбеке с кардинальным усовершенствованием и расширением аж до трех взлетно-посадочных полос, способных принимать тяжелые транспортники, стратегические бомбардировщики двух типов (B-52H и В-2), а также истребители F-22 и штурмовики A-10 Thunderbolt. Здесь же предполагалось выделить место для хранения ядерных боеприпасов, большая часть которых сейчас находится на территории Турции.

Третий момент - подземная база подводных лодок 825 ГТС, которую предполагалось восстановить и перепрофилировать в место базирования безэкипажных подводных и надводных дронов. Кроме того, американцы планировали передать ВМС Украины несколько дизельных подводных лодок, укомплектовав их смешанными американо-украинскими экипажами, естественно под командованием американских офицеров.

В комплекте к базе 825 ГТС прилагался объект «Сотка». При СССР здесь находились ракеты, способные полностью контролировать акваторию моря и поражать любые надводные цели, а также препятствовать десанту противника на побережье. В бункерах объектов «Сотка» Пентагон планировал разместить собственные ПКР, способные поражать не только морские, но и наземные цели на российском побережье Черного и Азовского морей.

В районе Старого Крыма и Феодосии, в горе Кизилташ, где с советского времени находился глубокий противоатомный бункер, где собирались ядерные бомбы и боеголовки, американцы планировали сделать передовой пункт базирования органов управления силами превентивного обезоруживающего удара по России.

Сочной вишенкой на карте красовались сразу два позиционных района ПРО Aegis - главной системы в противодействии российским МБР. С такого близкого расстояния, как в Крыму, они могли действовать гораздо эффективнее. С воздуха это великолепие охраняла целая россыпь дивизионов ПВО, натыканных по всему полуострову строго в шахматном порядке, и сразу пять полнокровных дивизий НАТО.»
