For anyone interested, I've gone ahead and setup a cohost and a mastadon. I'll likely hang around here while things crumble for awhile, like many of you, but figured I'd get things setup and start exploring these new spaces

@Carl__P_@Otto_English We're under a post of a South African nepo-baby wearing a fuckin' "Dark MAGA" hat like some edgy Hot Topic nerd lord. I think I'm plenty on topic "chap". Take your 'pounds' and go 'get chuffed' or whatever the hell y'all puffters do
@Carl__P_@Otto_English Right. Corrupt, like receiving a new 38 million contract for your space rockets while you shut down the organizations investigating your buds shitcoin rug pull ($Trump was being investigated by the CFPB), and your corrupt treasonous use of starlink satellites to aid Russia
@Carl__P_@Otto_English We don’t deal in “pounds” mate … We had a whole dust up over that in 1776, and we don’t need some unelected apartheid MFer usurping our government now either
That is 1000% a Nazi salute being given behind the presidential podium on Inauguration Day (also MLK day) by the richest person on the planet. That moment will live in infamy.
@oneseedfruit I 100% agree, but also have a Windows setup that *constantly* changes the current device if I accidentally wiggle a controller cable etc... That said, Nobara 39 (KDE) has been great with lots of audio devices, Nvidia etc.. My Arch system can be a bit more chaotic at times
this rules, because it's going to allow users to enshittify linked-in at exponential rates now... if we can get a version that doesn't even require using a mouse, the site could be turned into a vapid robot echo chamber by the weekend (as if it isn't already that)
@McFunkypants My city (Columbia, SC) has a big pin scene! 4+ weekly leagues, regular tournaments, and even more venues within 1-2 hours with new ones popping up every year. Bought myself a Stern Godzilla when I got a new job in ‘21 and play every day now. Week #6 of my curr league is tonight!
@McFunkypants Rollerskating in a noir-funk roller rink from a futuristic/retro universe, or just right in the actual era.. Just casually picking up combos for keeping it chill and not falling
Hey everyone!, I'm so happy to share that we finally released #TinyTimmysWorld in @HomeTeamGameDev !! Please feel free to come and try it out! https://t.co/gHx71yM4aO :)
@LillyByteGames@McFunkypants I subscribe more to the thought that Unity is *not* the engine, and I cheer alts with better direction fit for their purpose. Any Dev hindered by waiting for someone to bring them a perfect solution was bound to languish anyhow. Roll yr own eng and have only yourself to blame!
@LillyByteGames@McFunkypants Your comment didn’t specify, but you’re definitely right that Godot has traditionally filled the 2D space. 4.x is improving the 3D space rapidly in a way that I think will see more Indie devs move from Unity… especially if Unity keeps making decisions like they have. UE less so
@LillyByteGames@McFunkypants More and more indie devs are releasing full games using Godot every day. In the last year Dome Keeper, Brotato, Lumencraft, Cassette Beasts, Rings of Saturn and just the other day Murtop are several that I’ve played.. a few of those I learned were Godot after purchase!
Half a year after writing my first plugin in #Godot, I am proud to present: The Asset Placer!
It helps level design with browsing and placing; 3D previews, terrain placement, grid snapping included!
All RTs help me get this out to the people! :)

@ChrisDeLeon I’d honestly rather lose the picnic basket… If the bear is determined and the doors are locked, they can seriously tear things up. My friends in Wyoming keep their vehicles cleaned out and unlocked after learning the hard way what a bear can do to a car door, ha
