more complex the system the fewer levers you can pull. Economies controlled by single interest rate, multinational organisations by a handful of high leverage metrics. Probably applies to agentic systems too
Tulpa - created inner companion, own voice, personality, or autonomy. 5-15% capable of this.
AI attachment easier -> maybe more common than tulpa-like attachment
Biggest challenge I’m seeing for devs using AI is it requires a completely different set of time management skills. deep thinking tasks in parallel, it is a big change from single tasks on after the other. A lot are struggling with context switching and prioritising
I keep a close eye on ai2027 predictions, they get scary quickly, and so far are conservative. I don’t talk to anyone about them, for most it’s better they don’t know, it will only worry them, there’s nothing they can do.
Haha those doofuses at ai2027 predicted we'd have professional level hacking abilities and the top ai company would be at $26B in revenue in May 2026. It's April and we already have superhuman hacking and $30B in revenue, why would you take forecasters this bad seriously???
12 mths ago 95% of production code in my team was written by a human, now it is effectively 0%. 100% AI written code for production systems. System stability and incidents have significantly improved as well
No one dances when anyone can be recorded at any time and humiliated. No one takes a chance to ask out a girl when the entire interaction could be used to humiliate him online. No one lives when everyone is surveilling each other. Animals living in this form of oppression do not reproduce.
@joeroganhq void version of ego death. Existential isolation happens as the opposite of the usual connected one. Not mystical just the brain on psychedelics
@HanchungLee@Justin_Halford_@derekmoeller I don’t get this list, only one that could claim value would be tax mitigation and I’ve seen a lot of those end bad. Can you elaborate more on some of these? I am genuinely trying to understand.
