It’s official. Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Eric Gaudiosi, joined by Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Dr. Sameh El Hefny, opened the U.S. Pavilion at the El Alamein International Air Show 2026. The pavilion hosts a premier delegation of more than 25 world-class American companies showcasing leading-edge technologies and the future of flight.
The U.S.-Egypt military partnership remains a core pillar of regional security, and we are proud to showcase the depth of the U.S.-Egypt strategic and commercial partnership.

True friendship is forged in times of hardship 📷📷! During the Suez War in 1956, significant American humanitarian relief efforts supported affected families in Port Said. The bottom photo shows the arrival of massive American medical and food supplies via TWA aircraft, with boxes labeled "American Medical Relief for Port Said." These priceless items - most thousands of years old, spanning Pharaonic, Roman, and Coptic eras - include amulets, carved figures, and funerary objects that are now returning home.

The legendary meeting that wrote a brand new chapter in U.S.-Egypt relations 📷📷! In February 1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt traveled to Egypt for a historic summit aboard the USS Quincy in the Great Bitter Lake of the Suez Canal. Roosevelt welcomed Egypt’s young monarch, King Farouk I, on board. This warm conversation laid the cornerstone for the deep strategic and political partnership of the post-WWII era - a celebrated diplomatic milestone.
