Let’s be clear: The Biden administration simply appealing a Trump judge’s decision to block student debt relief shouldn’t be seen as “putting up a fight.” They can cancel the debt immediately with a different legal authority. That’s fighting.

The Biden administrations plan seems to be to let the courts stop student debt cancellation and then try to blame Republicans

Here is the truth: Biden can cancel student debt using other authorities but only if he does it AUTOMATICALLY with no application process.
