Karoline Leavitt, who has a three-decade age gap with her wealthy husband, says Gen Z is “lazy” and born with “silver spoons in their mouths," and that if they misbehave, they should be sent to “Iran” and “Cuba.”
Gen Z faces some of the most disparate wealth inequality in US history, with relative purchasing power, especially of homes, greatly diminished.

I appreciate the tradition and idea of an armed citizenry but this is just a parody of the concept that costs several thousands of dollars for what amounts to display pieces occasionally taken to a firing range.
Which most closely describes your gut reaction when you see this photo?

America having to use its reserves to keep itself and Europe afloat while also demanding Europe decouple itself from Russian energy suggests a massive blunder and not a Machiavellian move. I don't put that kind of move past us, but it reads more as damage control.
"I've spent an awful lot of time trying to understand exactly what it is that Tucker is doing."
@yhazony argues Tucker Carlson has become the defining force behind the growing divide threatening the future of the Republican coalition.
If they cared about obscene website, they'd enforce bans against them rather than building a massive ID database to track you and sell your data to their donors. Don't let the people who have lead the country, and frankly the entire world, into ruin feign concern for children.
PASSED: the KIDS Act requires age verification on obscene websites, sets nationwide standards enforced by the FTC, and empowers parents, while letting states pass even stronger child protections.
Thank you @RepGuthrie!
Could Starmer Become NATO Secretary-General?
🇬🇧 The outgoing British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, is reportedly planning to seek the post of NATO Secretary-General in 2028.
Starmer has previously stated that, according to British intelligence assessments and evaluations by other NATO member states, Russia could allegedly attack NATO countries by 2030.
Will Starmer be able to succeed Mark Rutte?
Starmer's prospects remain uncertain. To become Secretary-General, he would need broad support from NATO member states. While backing from the UK would be important, securing the support of the United States would likely be essential.
President Trump is reportedly not particularly supportive of Starmer, especially following disagreements over Iran. Trump is expected to remain in office until January 2029, while the selection of the next NATO Secretary-General is scheduled for 2028. As a result, Starmer may not receive Trump's backing.
The possibility of a war in 2030 does not depend on who becomes NATO Secretary-General.
The Secretary-General does not command NATO's armed forces or formulate military strategy. Consequently, any existing plans concerning a potential conflict with Russia would not be determined by the individual holding the position.
Such plans are shaped by the policies of NATO's member states.
🇩🇪🇫🇷🇬🇧 Germany, France, and the United Kingdom are preparing their armed forces for the security challenges they anticipate by 2030.
🇺🇸 The United States is also modernizing and preparing its military with the same timeframe in mind.
According to this view, these strategic decisions have already been incorporated into the national economic and military planning documents of NATO member states.
