NFTs are crashing, and @opensea is making it worse

here's why👇

@opensea is rewarding users based on creating competitive offers & listings.

Sounds fine, right? But here’s the problem:

People & Bots place bids not to buy NFTs but to farm as much XP as possible.

If a bid gets accepted, they immediately dump it into the next bid, often from another XP farmer.

This creates an endless downward spiral 📉

We’ve seen this before.
When BLUR launched the same farming strategy, the market tanked:

📉 BLUR Season 1:
- BAYC 72 → 48 ETH
- Doodles 7.7 → 5.5 ETH

📉 BLUR Season 2 (Even Worse):
- BAYC 70 → 30 ETH
- Doodles 4.5 → 1.5 ETH

Was BLUR the only reason? Maybe not.
But it played a huge role in the crash.

And now, @opensea is making the same mistake with their XP system.

Why is OpenSea doing this? Don't they know about the consequence?
They know exactly what they are doing.

But more volume = more fees = more profits for OpenSea.

The Fix?
🔒Unlock XP only if the NFT is held for a minimum number of days (like @Mintify is already doing).

If OpenSea doesn’t take this seriously, we’ll be waiting years for the NFT market to recover again.
