If nothing else, my goal in grad school is to send home the message that cisgendered and transgendered is not grammatically correct. It's like saying someone was gayed or straighted.
If you are a c!s person, you should never be solo author on a project (article, book, presentation, etc) about the trans experience.
There are so many incredible trans ppl you could partner with so that you're getting a more accurate perspective AND lifting up affected voices.
This is such a good example of junk science being used against trans people. This will be cited in anti-trans spaces forever now. Researchers at U of Texas found that 3.47% of ppl who had gender affirming surgery attempted suicide vs. 0.29% of ppl who didn't have surgery.
Not to mention the fact that research has indicated that sexual functioning and sexual satisfaction increases with access to gender affirming care, so they kind of go hand in hand anyway.
I’m going to need cis people to do a quick google search about hormones before they ever approach a trans person to “voice their concerns” about HRT. Y’all realize you have testosterone, estrogen and progesterone too, right?
Hey everyone! Would really appreciate if you could share, I’m recruiting for my master’s thesis looking at sexual well-being in women with endo and 2s/TNB individual with and without endo. Please pass along to anyone who might be interested :)
We are looking for research study participants to understand sexual health and well-being in Canadians with Endo. You can share your experiences with us by emailing us at [email protected]. This study is cleared by the University ofWindsor Research Ethics Board.

The whole trans sports ban thing is just another way for people to be transphobic and try to prevent trans people from being able to exist in public life. Imagine thinking a trans woman has a biological advantage in darts??
In my ideal society, libraries would be well-funded and open in the evenings. It would be culturally normal to skip the pub and gather at the public library after work to chat about books and play board games.
