I'm an experienced London-based freelancer Android developer looking for additional UK clients who need ad-hoc, part-time or smaller projects worked on. If you know anyone please pass this on (I will pay a referral for projects). DMs open. #AndroidDev
@PeteApps Lendlease built our 120m+ block (I'm RMC dir) in 2016 in London, nearly 300 units, potentially combustible balcony decking. Refuses us remediation but then tells Architect's Digest "it had not received any specific fire safety claims". Disingenuous at best.
@Veeoh@meeteve Yes, but why an Apple one and not the products from Google, Amazon, SmartThings, etc that include (or will soon) a thread border router?
@meeteve@Veeoh Why is an Apple thread border router required? I bought an Eve product expecting to upgrade today using an iOS device (as promised by Eve), but now it's only in preview and this hardware requirement.
@verge This is a disappointing step backwards. The old design was clear and readable but now there's a fog of poorly contrasted neon and the usability and legibility are terrible. My eyes hurt trying to read it. Sadly I will read Verge less often now.
@flicsmartbutton@csaiot That's disappointing as a major benefit of Matter is no more hubs are needed. It sounds like Flic buttons don't support Thread. Thanks anyway.
@dankim I've been doing Android development for ten years now I think, and still find things like changing the colour of some part or other of a widget can be one of the most tedious and painful things to do because of styles/themes.
@rrittenhouse@LastPassHelp LastPass autofill on Android 11 on my Pixel 5 still barely works. Most of the time tapping on a field in a browser form still fails to open the autofill window. It appears to be worse when LastPass is not authenticated suggesting the LastPass app is buggy. Not worth paying for.
@LastPassHelp No support for keyboard Autofill on Android 11? Also, why has Lastpass Autofill stopped working in Chrome since upgrading to Android 11? (works fine with apps)
@se1 Work has started on the LCC tower. They're building steel structures on the roof but not sure if for relocated mobile phone masts, or platforms to drop teams down to do the exterior facade works announced a while ago?
