@RyanEls4 It's good for smaller projects where you can fit the codebase in memory; becomes a nightmare in large enterprise projects where multiple swarms collaborate, overwriting each other's diffs, dropping important context etc. comes a time where each pr introduces a ton of regressions.
@Roxx_0x imagine grinding for months on sth like this, spending fortunes on tokens, just to make a single tweet about it which will get buried and forgotten about in 5 mins. State of gamedev:(
@trq212 Games will inevitably become personalized one-off apps just like all software. Similarly to how you'd build yourself a birthday bot for one specific occasion, you'd build yourself a game to beat and forget/delete when you're done. I do it every day. Build, play, forget.
@SecondChanceGme@LexnLin nope. you're DM'ing a bot, you're not creating anything. this is why artists have beef with vibe artists. it's the language (and the nerve).
@aworthystory 'human direction, IP development, production, writing, character art, music, sound design, editing' - none of this is an AI workflow. An AI workflow is mostly autonomous.
@aworthystory I think we all know what you meant: someone prompting sth, getting sth back, then prompting adjustments etc.. 3 days, 300 prompts later they feel like they created sth and consider themselves an artist simply bc it took time/effort. That is not how it works.
@GumiSamaVT Artists are flat broke and getting themselves hired by the labs to do the exact thing ur saying they shouldn't be doing. I know u r on a moral highground here but data tagging is still better than g4p.
