@ndh4hy@blankspeaker Depends what you are doing. Your home connection probably use a dynamic address that changes. If you are a regular user not trying to bend the rules / trick other online services, then I would not worry about showing your home IP.
@ndh4hy@blankspeaker Some / most services on the Internet take your source public IP header info into consideration when interacting. Mass used IPs such as VPN, or the public IP ranges of Grok are known, vendors may limit, shape or reject your traffic. Residential pub IPs are not scrutinised as much.
@tibor_tee I would like to see a clean interface as to what projects / bots have what access to various APIs, connectors, MCPs etc. Late at night with tired eyes admittedly, I am getting into a muddle with what has access to what. A clear root overview and status page would be a start.
@elonmusk As an infra nut, I would have loved to be there when you were ripping out infra from one of the DCs. A mixture of excitement for progress and baked in fear for protecting against such events over the last 20 years.
@farzyness@X@bot Just have cursor create you an IMAP server with MCP access, then create accounts for each bot, hand the bots the creds stating usage via MCP and away you go.
@ScienceWDrDoug@XFreeze Your experience is not unique. Efficiency is key. I learned quickly to move away from bot browser based interactions which are slow and costly to installing an MCP in my WebApp that the bots can leverage directly.
@tristanbob@bot I experienced the same. I then worked out the problem was me! Why was I, a mere human, trying to peice this together!? I then lent on Grok, explained what I am trying to acheive, gave it a few high level pointers and asked it to write me a prompt that I can give to the first bot.
The Tories have crowned Rishi Sunak without him saying a word about what he would do as PM. He has no mandate, no answers and no ideas. Nobody voted for this.
The public deserve their say on Britain’s future through a General Election. It’s time for a fresh start with Labour.
@KatieMiller Under the existing Online Safety Act, Bluesky (like Reddit) has already implemented some age verification in the UK for certain features/content (e.g., via facial scans or third-party services).
@shadowJ47 A technical illiterate statement. Many platforms and smaller apps allow you to create images of all sorts. Targeting @xai@X etc. shows what their real agenda is, to control the narrative.
