Patrick Atiti is a parent within Bunyore West, his son was infested with jigger for quite some time, he couldn't attend school before because he was not able to walk. After last year's #AntiJiggerCampaign & treatment, the son was successfully treated.
A total of 100 households infested with jiggers have been reached and impacted. This number translates to over 800 people who have directly benefited from the intervention.
As part of our interventions, we focus on health and well being of our learners and community members by providing medical & psychosocial support. Part of this support include the annual Anti-Jigger campaign. #WorldHealthDay
