ENJOY YOUR MONEY NOW BECAUSE….
I have lived in the UK since February 1990 and have spent the majority of my life here. God has been good to me, and I am grateful.
Over those years, I enjoyed stability, peace, and comfort in the company of some close friends who became pillars in my life. We suffered together: Did odd jobs, battled with the immigration authorities, studied together, got married, raised our children, bought properties, and made some money. We looked forward to our retirement together, and so we thought.
Suddenly, people started getting sick and mostly of cancer. One by one, those pillars that surrounded me started crumbling. None of you reading this will believe what has happened to my circle of friends in the past three years. I lost my PA of many years on the 22nd of May 2023, another friend on the 21st of August 2023, another on 31 January 2025, another on the 3rd of February 2026, another on the 19th of May 2026, and another on the 24th of May 2026. These were people I was very close to, and I was involved in their care. They left harrowing voice notes for me and told me things I cannot disclose to anyone before they died. All of them died of cancer. Sadly, I had to bury three of them as their friend and pastor. No two days have been the same for me. I pick up my phone to call them, but they are no longer there. When some clients said they called and sent messages but did not get a response, it was not deliberate. I ignored myself, too, but I am getting better. Life happened!
Why am I being this open? All of them suffered and worked hard. They were between 50 and 65 years old. They looked forward to their pension. They looked forward to spending time with their spouse and grandchildren, but it never happened.
So, to you, who is working hard and looking forward to your pension, there may be no pension. There may be no old age. Start enjoying your life now. Start enjoying your money now. Start fulfilling those dreams now. Do not spend your life laboring to die without tasting what you labored for. That was what happened to my seven hardworking and good friends within the last three years. I am heartbroken, and I missed them all. There is no one to throw football banters with. They all supported teams that I don’t support or like😜
For my remaining friends and readers of this article, may the Lord help us and protect us. Remember that life is temporary and unpredictable. May we enjoy the fruits of our labor, but we need to turn our prayers to intentional enjoyment of our money before it is too late. If old age comes, it comes, but enjoy now. Psalm 39:6.
Hold on, I am trying to book my next holiday. Book yours too. See you later.

There is an urgent medical information I want to pass across. This will save your life, pls come close.
If you ever see rotten tomatoes that looks like these pictures I posted, or if you ever see onions with black spots on them or you see corn with mould on it,
PLEASE RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
Why do I say this?
All these food items are contaminated with a poisonous fungus called AFLATOXINS.
Aflatoxins are notorious for increasing the risk of liver cancer. When you eat food that has this type of tomatoes, or you eat food cooked with this kind of onions or you eat this type of corn you are at risk of developing liver cancer.
Only eat fresh tomatoes, fresh onions and fresh corn. Avoid rotten tomatoes, blackened onions or corn with mould (even if they are cheaper to buy).
This is not a threat or a joke.
This is a real life serious medical issue.
Kindly share this information.
Our governors met and conspired that a certain percentage of the statutory allocations meant for their states should be deducted at source as their contribution to the re-election campaign funds of PBAT.
It is reported that over 800 billion so far has been raised, and a significant portion of the funds has been siphoned and it is causing crisis amongst the governors, it is said that some governors where spotted walking furiously from their last meeting.
But that’s not my concern, my concern is;
Did our imperial governors sought for the consent of their people before authorizing this monthly deductions?
Do our imperial governors ever considered the fact that the monies paid to their states belongs to the people and not them to do as they wish?
Why did PBAT agreed to go with this acts of grand larceny being committed by our imperial governors?
Or is it the reason why all governors are practically forced to join APC so they can contribute a percentage of their FAAC?
Now that the money is said to have been stolen, misappropriated or is missing can any legal action be taken against those responsible?
When they knew that the source of the money is also due to some criminal acts of our imperial chiefs of states?
So many questions seeking for answers, which only our imperial masters can give!
But seriously there is no conscience in leadership in Nigeria and no wonder they cannot move freely and interact with the governed without heavy security presence.
In Shaa Allaah we shall get to where leadership is about service and not subservience or the people dancing to the drumbeats of the leaders. But as things stand today the future of our children and grand children are at a serious risk!
Two Sundays ago in my church, two families came forward for child dedication.
The first family looked wealthy; everything from their outfits to the gifts spoke of it. As they stepped out, many people stood up and danced with them to the front.
Then the second family was called.
No glamour. No attention. The wife wore a simple ankara, and the husband quietly held an envelope to present.
Before they even reached the front, only three people were behind them. No crowd. No excitement.
I tapped my friend and said, “Let’s go.”
We stood up and joined them, dancing them to the front.
After the service, the husband came to find us. You could feel how deeply he appreciated that small gesture.
And it left me thinking…
There’s hardly space anywhere for a poor man.
No money.
No social love.
Sometimes, not even family love.
Just… silence.
You can’t compare the cost of barbing your hair in uk with barbing your hair in Nigeria. For the simple reason that the minimum wage is not the same in both countries.
Minimum wage in Nigeria is 77,000 naira. That’s about £40. Minimum wage in UK is about £12.71 per hour.
So the person working in uk for 4hours will make MORE money than the person who works 30days in Nigeria- yet both of them are doing the same minimum wage work. So it’s only commonsense that countries where people earn more, basic things will cost more- compared to places where people earn peanuts.
This is why intelligent people compare cost of living relative to income in that country, not relative to cost in a lesser income country.
Sometimes I wonder why government officials deliberately mix sycophancy with insanity. Because there’s no way in the world that Reno Omokri doesn’t know this. He knows it but the evil darkness in his soul will make him deliberately say crap like this.
I was in a queue at a POS stand in Lagos when a little boy, maybe 10 years old, walked up.
He handed the agent ₦500 and said, “Aunty, help me send it to my mummy.”
The agent asked, “Where is your mummy dey?”
He replied, “Hospital.”
Everyone went quiet.
She asked again, “Why did you not go with her?”
The boy looked down and said,
“The doctor said they won’t touch her until we bring money.”
Nobody spoke for a few seconds.
Then the woman behind me stepped forward and said,
“How much do they need?”
Before you knew it, strangers started contributing.
That day, I realised something:
In Nigeria, people are struggling, but they still show up for one another.
Rev. John Aina, retired Music Director of the Apostolic Faith Church and a veteran of the gospel, offered the closing prayer at my wedding reception in 2008.
Part of the prayer has stuck in my brain 18 years after for his masterful use of alliteration and the sheer poetry. He offered the prayers in Yoruba language.
For its poetic cadence, this part of his prayer where he played on my name and Aanu's name has taken permanent residence in my head since then. Aanu and I constantly recall the prayer as a key highlight of our wedding ceremony.
"Jesu Omo Olorun, a dupe fun awon omo wa yi. Aanu ati Tope. A dupe fun oore te se fun won. Adupe fun igbeyawo yi. Adupe fun aanu ta ri gba. A dupe nitori pe AANU taa ri gba T'OPE!"
Yesterday morning, I received a message from Aanu that Baba John Aina passed on peacefully at the age of 87.
May his memories be blessed.
Next April, 2027 at this exact time, you and I will be standing in the places we used to dream about. Living our most beautiful rich life. Send this to yourself.
