The bandits are cawords. Once you matched their fire power, they will have no choice but to retreat and run in dessarey.
The security agencies should be empowered with the right combat enablers, these miscreants will be crushed.

The Senate President, Sen. Akpabio, announced that the states have promised to consider the state police bill on the same day once they receive it.
Sometimes last week, I told the contractor that I wanted to see where this road starts from. They took me there, and I noticed that land grabbers have started developing lands not given to them. I've asked for the acting director of development control. He should go and bring all down. Heaven will not fall. Rather, it will be at peace when things are done properly.

Harry Maguire: “If Ruben [Amorim] was still the manager [at Manchester United] now, Kobbie [Mainoo] would have probably been shifted on and be looking for a new club but he's turned things around, credit to him.
It would have been a mistake because he's a Manchester lad, he's come through the academy and we want them players in our club to drive the club forward for the next 10 years. And hopefully he is at the club for the next 10 years because he has the ability to do so.” [@RestIsFootball]

OSUN APC MOURNS EZEKIEL OLOPADE
The Osun APC Governorship Campaign Council has expressed deep sadness over the violent death of a youth, Ezekiel Olopade, in Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area, demanding a transparent and professional investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice. While urging political actors to stop exploiting the tragedy for partisan gains, the council called on security agencies to investigate rumors that the killing was orchestrated to demonize and force the redeployment of the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Gotan.
Concurrently, the APC slammed Senator Lere Oyewumi, the Director-General of Governor Adeleke's campaign, labeling his call for justice hypocritical. The council tasked Senator Oyewumi to explain his alleged involvement in past political violence, specifically referencing the unresolved murders of APC supporters Saheed Oyegunju in 2023 and Hon. Remi Abass in 2025. They urged the state government to allow law enforcement to work without interference rather than attempting to shift blame to the opposition.
1. Umahi. 2. Soludo. 3. Otti. 4. Obi
Here’s why: I based my selection on their public sector experience as they have all served.
1. Umahi was governor of Ebonyi and now Minister of Works. I see first hand his “doings” as minister and heard great things when he was a governor.
2. Soludo was central bank governor and now governor of Anambra state. He did very well as CBN governor. As Anambra governor, I’m hearing mixed reviews.
3. Otti is the Governor of Abia state but has only been in office for less than a full term. I heard great things but I can’t confirm first hand.
4. Obi was Governor of Anambra state for 8 years. Based on commentary AT THAT TIME (still online), it seems things were one kain.
But hey. My personal opinion.

ASIWAJU IS NOT A GOD AND CAN BE BEATEN ---
Can Tinubu be beaten? Oh, without a shadow of a doubt… Yes, he can.
Can Asiwaju be toppled? Most certainly… even giants stumble.
Can Jagaban taste defeat at the polls? Believe it ... even lions miss their prey.
Only the Almighty boasts an unblemished record of triumph .... and since Tinubu doesn’t walk on water, he too can lose. He may wield the scepter of strategy and don the armor of ambition, but he bleeds like any other mortal.
But this is the Truth. .
The man fated to humble him wasn’t on the last ballot… and he’s nowhere near the next. Tinubu may not be divine, but he carries the fire of a seasoned gladiator and until destiny delivers his worthy opponent, he’ll keep emerging victorious in the arena.
He is not unbeatable .... just unthreatened by the irritating neophytes currently lining up. The Lion can fall, yes .... but not to a chicken.
So spare us the emotional, pedestrian blackmail of “Tinubu should know he isn’t God.” Of course, he is not God. But God also knows Tinubu isn’t you. And a just God does not hand the reward of a master strategist and proven performer to mediocre gamblers.
So make peace with your fruitless ambition and embrace your ignominy at the grip of certain defeat...
Good morning in many tongues, and ten thousand tones. Especially, severally.
A gang of eight individuals terrorized several villages, but their activities began to unravel following a single tip.
A member of the public in Kebbi State came forward with credible information.
This courageous action led to the arrest of Bube Tukur, a member of a kidnapping syndicate responsible for abducting Alh. Abu Geza of Geza Village, Bagudo LGA.
Officers recovered one locally fabricated pistol and one live cartridge from him.
Alh. Abu Geza was rescued unharmed. The operation continued as Bube Tukur led officers directly to the hideout of Jiji Mujugu, the gang leader.
Mujugu opened fire and attempted to flee, but was neutralized at the scene.
This gang of eight had been terrorizing Geza, Adawa, Matsinkai, Sharabi, Illela, Suru, Dakin Gari, Bagudo, and nearby communities for an extended period. The leader has been neutralized, one member is in custody, and the search for the remaining six continues.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, personally commended the Kebbi State Commissioner of Police for the strong collaboration between the police and the community, which made this operation possible. This demonstrates that when residents trust the police and come forward, criminal networks are significantly weakened.
This partnership resulted in the swift dismantling of the gang's leadership.
We extend our gratitude to the community member whose tip initiated this operation. Your action was instrumental in dismantling a criminal network.
That is the power of "See Something, Say Something."

2026 Ekiti Governorship: Peter Obi Should Have Been On Ground With His Media Followers - Nwoye
Democracy is not about being on the internet, running around, or mobilising as if it were a student union activism. It is about being on the ground. The people of Ekiti State spoke; they practised democracy at the polling units, not on the internet or in television studios. Many people do not even have access to television stations, but they understand the kind of work being done in the state.
