@funnydanny Public financing for stadiums is almost always a boondoggle. Nats Park is an exception, and even that hasn’t done as much for the city as it might appear.

@funnydanny the thing that you guys (esp Grant) consistently overlook is that stadium development is mostly a shell game. Most of those stores and restaurants will be chains, and the money won’t stay local. Even more so for a Super Bowl or other big event.
