Fable 5’s safety harness is rushed.
Twitter is blowing up with examples of requests that the models refused to execute deeming them unsafe.
But here’s how you know it’s true - a welcome screen from Anthropic suggests to go down to Opus 4.8 when the request is rejected.
Not a good look.
Every person you talk to has an operating frequency (like GHz).
It translates to how fast that person can process information and “stay on the same page”.
Ideas penetrate faster and conversations just flow. It’s a separate goal of mine to find as many people of the same GHz as I can.
Siri AI that lives in a dynamic island sounds like an obviously great idea.
I would love to see how smart these models are without internet. I think it should be pretty good considering Apple has a dedicate AI chip in its phones.
Signing up for beta now.
Apple is about to announce a new Siri and I hope it’s as good as ChatGPT.
No other model was able to consistently and flawlessly understand me both in spoken English and Ukrainian. Claude is terrible with both.
I hope Siri nails this!
Whenever I don’t use codex for a task, I ask myself why and usually realize that there’s some missing context, I needed to write a skill, or I just didn’t think to use it.
Rarely is it because the task is outside of the capabilities of the model. Overhang right now feels large.
All the markets are down big time.
You really shouldn’t invest if you can’t stay calm under such conditions. If your core thesis still holds true - all is good.
So here’s one of the best memes I’ve seen about this: red light therapy is good for your skin.
Apocalyptic bird nest.
A Russian glide bomb knocks down a tree in Donbas. From the shattered branches rolls out a tiny bird’s nest.
Made of drone fiber-optic cable.
