im 27 and honestly it does not matter. there is no time. do what you want and be free. you can literally wake up and decide who you are, what you want to do. just do it and if it doesn’t go according to plan, try again. life’s to short to mourn when it’s just getting started.
When ppl think of NYC culture (by culture I mean people), they're thinking of Brooklyn. The Bronx. Harlem. They're referring to lifestyles of ppl from those places. Chopped cheese. Deadass. Brick. Timbs. Son. Pelle Pelle. HIP-HOP. Blackity Black Black. The list goes on.
If anything, NYC is culturally Black. Almost everything NYC is known for comes from Black ppl since the creation of hip-hop. The lingo, the clothes....most modern impersonations of someone "from NYC" is usually of a Black person.
The best team in baseball in June, by a decent margin, is the Miami Marlins. They're about to go 20-6, have outscored opponents 129-78 this month and have the lowest CBT payroll in MLB. The Marlins' third-highest-paid player is Giancarlo Stanton, who last played for them in 2017.
RECOVER FASTER THAN EVERYONE
Lose the day. Come back at night. Miss the gym. Go tomorrow. Waste a week. Win the next one. Get embarrassed. Stay visible. Get rejected. Try again. Fall behind. Move anyway. Stop turning every mistake into a new identity. Stop making failure mean more than it does. Stop disappearing every time life proves you’re still human. The men who win aren’t perfect. They just don’t stay gone.
The cheat code is simple.
Become impossible to keep down.
I want people to notice how a lot of these are done naturally by children. Especially the arm swings (as is done when skipping, and some others are done when stimming). Turns out longevity is connected to channeling the mannerisms of the inner child. How cool!
I go to war behind this genre of Black classics. I loveeeeeed Drumline, Roll Bounce, Johnson Family Vacation, Dreamgirls, Remember the Titans, The Preachers Wife!
Nothing beats the family friendly Black Classics.
ROSALÍA gives praise to Beyoncé at her Houston concert:
“You’re so lucky because Beyoncé is from here. Bey is incredible. She’s such a creative force.”
I think part of what makes this account’s work so satisfying is they are doing a form of pattern recognition that is computerlike in many ways but actually requires a soul to pull off. Proof humans are still on top
