Salute to the over 1000 youth from around the world who have graced the Global Youth Environment Assembly at the UN Complex over the last week. @UN @UNEP @Kmunep
Today I had the honour of opening the Youth Environment Assembly #YEA2025.
Over 2,000 young leaders showed once again that youth are not the future; they are partners shaping the world of today.
Your energy, advocacy & science-driven action give multilateralism its heartbeat.
I was deeply honored to deliver a moving tribute to a remarkable leader and mentor of so many youth from around the world @PMOsano as he transitions from @SEI_Africa to @CIFOR_ICRAF . Huge congratulations sir!
As a Ministry, we are immensely grateful for the technical support that we received from @SEI_Africa when Kenya hosted the inaugural Africa Climate Summit in 2023, as well as in the development on a draft national action plan for short lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) ~PS Ng'eno

The African Group of Negotiators on Climate Change (AGN) plays a critical role of consolidating the African position and projecting continent's voice on climate change in international fora.
Just had an insightful conversation with @LarryMadowo about the intricate ties between climate change and health. 🌍 As our planet warms, areas across Africa see rising malaria cases. Is this the consequence of our changing climate? This isn't just a regional concern—it's a global wakeup call. 🚨 #ClimateAndHealth #globalchallenges
