@mar5hallhoops I see this so much. Too many coaches want to be friends with their players MORE than they want to actually coach them. I go to tournaments and see the pursuit of “moments” and hype overtake the actual pursuit of winning the game. Also don’t need 32 coaches on the bench! 😂

The point is that we are consistently doing 2 things in these threads: 1) centering his experience in a situation where it clearly isn’t the most important and 2) acting like a star athlete being associated with a muster isn’t newsworthy.

Do you think the family of the woman killed thinks his big night should be sheltered from scrutiny? His life will continue. Hers? A few questions about his role in an incredibly tragic situation is a pretty small price.
