Hero cards: this one's pretty simple. If your Hero dies, you lose the game. Keep it alive
You can do this by utilizing its Skill (the ability it has in the description), retreating (moving it behind your other cards), and protecting it with other Creatures (more on that later)
Realms: these cards allow you to speak (summon) certain Creature types. In addition, they generate Words (akin to energy/mana), which allow you to speak cards and do other actions
For example, the Realm card below allows you to speak all card types, but generates few Words
Creatures: these are your main force for attacking and defending. Creatures come in multitudes of types, DP (damage points), HP (hitpoints), some have Skills, and some have unique combos/ties with other Creatures.
It'll be up to the players to discover all the combos out there
Spells: these cards can only be played during your turn. They influence the game in different ways, with some being single-use, some equipping themselves to other cards, and others exerting lasting effects while they are on the field
Identify them by their soft blue color
Curses: these are functionally the same as Spells, but they can only be used during your opponent's turn. A well-timed Curse can be the difference between winning and losing. So, choose your Words wisely
You can identify them by their soft purple color
This was a basic overview. There is more to come soon.
If you've made it this far, here's a secret: the first 100 people to RT the first tweet in this thread will be recorded and have immediate access to the White List channel on Discord. It's coming soon.
