@WhiteHotRoom_HQ She should only be at her strongest when she is in the White Hot Room - that’s when all of her pieces are aligned - Jean Grey, Phoenix Force, WHR. This is also a way to limit her OP status when she is in the physical world with others.
@marvel_updat3s 3.. only the first 3 episodes were good story wise. Pretty disappointing how the creative team is approaching this show. It’s as if there is no quality control of the actual story and pacing.
Fox’s #JeanGrey was very calm. MCU flips it: Jean debuts untrained and raw, doing whatever it takes to find her sister. That range is the point, and what makes her future exciting: watch her get trained to control her powers, then snap back threatening when it counts🙂↕️🤌🏽
@CertifiedFool_ To me it’s two different powers at play. Telekinesis is mental, not source of direct energy. Danger, being a machine, needed to be overloaded, and Polaris has control over energy by manipulating the electromagnetic spectrum.
@PhoenixJean616 Also, I think overall we are on the same page.. it’s just how we interpret Hope’s role / essence in this pretty cool way that Kieron Gillen wrote her.
@PhoenixJean616 This doesn’t make Hope = Jean, though. Jean is able to give her Phoenix power to others (like she did to Adani). That doesn’t make Adani Jean. So in a similar fashion, Hope was conceived/imbued with a fragment of her power, which is the catalyst for the rebirth (the spark).
@r_spill13@PhoenixJean616 The Jean and Hope relationship was brilliantly explored.
Storm was a badass neutralizing Nimrod.
Lactuca speaking to Scott, hinting at Jean’s role in the war, and Scott telepathically reaching out to Jean asking her to rise again.
Poetic endings tbh.
@ChampagnePuthy@AtlantisFell 👏🏽Exactly. I was very into the book when it first came out, but eventually it took a turn and I just couldn’t stay into it. Unfortunately, I feel like too much damage has been done (book, X posts, podcasts) affecting Storm, fans, and possibilities of adequate crossovers.
@CertifiedFool_@ArchivesJean My head canon is that she ascends to WPOTC only when she’s in the WHR and all 3 elements (Jean + PF + WHR) are in sync as one, providing true dominion over creation. I see Cosmic Queen as the full actualization of Jean is Phoenix & Phoenix is Jean, & acting primarily in-universe.
@ThewildstormKAS I’m Black..my opinion ain’t about race at all because I’m all in support of Storm and for her to get the spotlight she very much deserves. My comment was related to how I felt about claims about Hadad, given his limited appearance and alleged power relative to other powerhouses
@ThewildstormKAS The story took place, and people seem to have accepted what took place in the book, without using what has been said in another medium, and making claims about other characters? Idk maybe it’s just not showing up on my feed lol
@ThewildstormKAS Hadad appeared in Storm, but the writer added anecdotal information on a podcast that can’t be taken as canon. Using that limited appearance to claim strongest villain, with no impact in other books, is just extrapolating.
