From Gaza to the UCC — this is more than a degree. It is my chance to reclaim a future that war tried to steal.

So far, we have raised €4,971 out of the €16,700 needed for my university tuition, which must be covered before August 1st. In addition, I still need around €10,000 to cover one year of living expenses while studying.

Despite displacement, fear, and endless uncertainty, I continue to hold onto my dream of completing my Master’s degree and building a life shaped by education, not destruction. Every day in Gaza is a struggle, yet I still believe knowledge can open doors that war closes.

This fundraiser is helping me continue my academic journey and reach safety so I can pursue my studies and create a better future for myself and my family. Your support, whether through donating, sharing, or simply believing in me, means more than words can express.

Guys, if you appreciate my work, give Aya a donation of $5 at least. This is a 13-year old kid who was horrifically wounded in the "war." (Privacy considerations due to age and questions of informed consent prevent me from disclosing all the specifics of her injuries.) She suffers constantly - she does not smile as she used to - but her mind, dreams, and hopes are fully intact. Her mom also suffers all the time knowing her daughter doesn't get the full care she needs. I have spoken with both of them.

As a teacher, I can say that Aya has all the ingredients for a successful future high school and college career and interesting life going forward. But she needs our help now. She needs to attend regular rehab, which is extremely limited and expensive in Gaza. Please donate.
