I saw someone do something almost identical to this. I quickly got behind him and followed him to his seat and sat right next to him. I whispered to him, “I realize that you might be visiting us and that at your church people carry their communion host back to their seat with them and everyone consumes their hosts together at the same time but in Catholic tradition your supposed to consume the Host immediately when you receive it before returning to your seat. He looked at me but said nothing, which is understandable, so I said, “so you should consume it now.” He whispered, “I don’t want to do that.” I said, “I understand, so you should give it to me then.” He remained silent. I whispered, “look, I think you made an honest mistake and I don’t want to trouble but I won’t let you take that communion Host out of this building with you.” He took it from his pocket and handed it to me. I thanked him, took it, consumed it then I moved to a pew across the aisle and a few rows in front of him. Communion was just about over and I texted my wife who was sitting across the aisle and 3 rows behind the guy (which is how I so easily saw the guy pocket the Host). I told her to discreetly see where he’s parked in lot and get his tag number. (for no other reason other than I like to collect tag numbers. It’s a hobby of sorts, and uh, or maybe I’m a paranoid schizophrenic looney who sees schemers everywhere. Nah! Anyway, I’m sure the guy didn’t have any evil intentions. Or did he?

Bishop Barron is so right. The U.S.S.R. in their quest to “free” the working man from the “tyranny ” of religion, which they deemed to be “the opium of the people” murdered more men, women, and children than the Crusades, the Inquisitions, and the NAZI Holocaust COMBINED!

Not to be outdone by the Soviets, Chairman Mao, with his Little Red Book in hand and determined to free the Chinese people from the corruption and violence of feudal warlords, (a good thing) and to rid China of religion (no independent thinking allowed) and to build a utopian workers paradise, Mao murdered about as many people as the Soviets did. He came in tie with his Communist neighbors in perpetrating the largest genocide the world has ever seen… times two.

And the legacy of Lenin, Marx, Stalin and Mao lives on through other Communist puppets who promise bountiful utopias but instead deliver starvation and life living in communal cages but they themselves live like royalty. Vladimir Putin, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, Xi Jin Ping, Kim Jung Un, and the novo Western Communists like Barack Hussein Obama, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zorhan Mamdani and others.

They are enemies of American Democracy. They are enemies of free market capitalism. They are enemies of Jesus Christ and His followers. They are working to destroy America from within and they don’t even bother to hide their agenda anymore.

It’s an old siren for a bicycle. It would have been mounted on the front fork. The top part in the photo is a wheel. The wheel was positioned close to the tire sidewall. Several companies made them from the 1890’s through the 1960’s. A chain fixed to the bottom bracket allowed the rider to pull the siren and tilt it against the tire to cause the siren to spin. They were pretty loud; especially on a long downhill.
