youngwoo and taejoon going grocery shopping. at first, its look like a normal daily routine, but youngwoo is actually wearing a butt plug and taejoon holds the remote. they just wanted to try a new, spicy game in public.
the shopping is done blindly; youngwoo cannot see the grocery list, which taejoon is holding, so he has to guess which items to pick up. every time he chooses incorrectly, taejoon activates the remote (they end up having sex in the supermarket restroom, likely forgetting what they actually needed to buy)
i'll forever mourn the lack of THAT youngwoo flashbacks and more tjyw flashbacks in general. ive said it multiple times: im not the kind of reader who needs to be spoon-fed every single detail, i don't need a cinematic lovey-dovey panel to know taejoon proposed to youngwoo, but still ,,,, im starving.
its been a while since i last had a hyperfixation and its been even longer since i felt such an intense emotional connection with a character the way i do with youngwoo. i wish i could know how youngwoo truly felt about taejoon before david kim, whether he was already ready to give him his body, heart and soul before his biggest fear became reality: ending up just like his mother.
sometimes i wish i were just a casual reader, because i never expected it to be this hard to let go of this story
tj: hang up first
yw: no, YOU hang up first
tj: babe i have a lot of things to do at work
yw: then hang up first
tj: okay babe bye see you later
five seconds later, taejoon's phone starts ringing again.
tj: hello?
yw: YOU REALLY HUNG UP FIRST?????
tj: WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM? YOU TOLD ME TO
yw: IT WAS A TEST
tj: YOU'RE CRAZY
yw: TWO WEEKS ON THE COUCH

yw: SIX WEEKS
tj: FUCKING STOP THREATENING ME WITH THE COUCH EVERY TIME I DO SOMETHING WRONG
yw: TEN
tj: ......... fine 😮💨 you hang up first
yw: thats better bye babe see you at home
*youngwoo hangs up*
actually, i love how in the end Jo still barely knew anything about Youngwoo and everything that he did end up learning about him was on accident through others.
not about the addiction Youngwoo fought. not that he likes driving motocross, not what has happened to his family.
what amuses me the most about the misinterpretation of tjyw's dynamic is that people still believe yw is submissive to tj behavior when it's actually quite the opposite (and im obviously not talking about their dynamic in bed)
@VestigiaFlamae It's strange that before the first chapter was even released, not a single editor or anyone close to her warned her how shaky the ground was that she was stepping on 🤷🏻♀️
