20 years old Prudence Imuli was shot dead yesterday in Marurui area of Kiambu.

According to her husband, Prudence was beginning to prepare supper around 5pm when she realized she was out of cooking oil. She stepped out and went to the nearby shop to buy the cooking oil. On her way back at the door of their plot, she was shot in the chest.

Her husband rushed her to Kenyatta hospital where she died a few minutes into the treatment. They had no children.
