@InitModule@IndianGems_ Shocked an IIT alum says this. The AI bubble will burst, but it’s "too big to fail." US Bailouts will happen and will just make the rich richer.
India has billions to feed. We must stop obsessing over a weakening rupee and focus on keeping our core, non-AI fundamentals strong.

@IndianGems_ AI is undoubtedly useful but Valuations of primarily AI Companies (OpenAI, Anthropic) are beyond delusional. Either they soon wield the power of God or would go Bankrupt (bailed out by TaxPayers). I am guessing he is right. If it wields power of God, shouldn't humanity flourish?
A game dev quote: "The first 90% is easy, the rest 90% is the hardest part". Rest 90% is polish, optimization and bug-fix BUT nothing big in terms of game itself. Coding Models are entering rest 90%, the hardest part.
Users: Diminishing Returns/Time.
AI Devs: Crunching HARD.
I know I've talked about it quite a bit recently. But I gotta be honest I am genuinely so fucking sick of seeing AI slop.
It's fucking EVERYWHERE. I'm sick of hearing AI voices, AI food, AI ads, AI fonts, AI summaries, AI accounts. It's so intrusive and repetitive.
Nobody wants a city on Mars. Nobody wants AI in every app. Nobody wants a robot butler. Nobody wants data centers everywhere. Nobody wants flying cars or humanoid robots. We want clean water, we want bees to survive, and we want a habitable planet.
@ChrisMurphyCT "Tavus reached a post-money valuation of $250.79 million following its $40 million Series B funding round in November 2025"
- Anything to print money and I am fairly certain no one within Tavus uses the product knowing what dangers it presents.
In the future your grandchildren will ask you, "What was the best thing about AI?"
You'll be able to tell them "When it went bankrupt."
Such a lovely story about all the evil Scrooge's of the world losing everything.
The most dangerous criminals don't wear masks—they wear suits and call themselves 'public servants.' They don't steal in dark alleys; they steal in daylight, with legislation, and call it 'policy.'
The wolf doesn't dress as a sheep anymore. He holds press conferences and tells the flock he's their shepherd.
@edzitron Neither OpenAI nor Anthropic will be allowed to die. Thinking it WAS magic everyone poured everything they got including NVIDIA. THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE ON EARTH TO PREVENT LOCAL MODELS FROM BEING USED. DO NOT USE openai/anthropic.
The richest 0.1% of American households have doubled their total wealth since 2019, from $13.4 trillion to $27.9 trillion.
Their average daily gain in net worth was $43,000 a day per household.
Over this same period, the bottom 50% increased their net worth by just $14 a day.
The $10-$15 trillion total addressable market for AI, if it is successful, is actually "terrifying".
- The famous "Dean of Valuation", Professor Aswath Damodaran, of NYU Stern School of Business.
The reason: AI as a tool is a much smaller market; AI as a replacement for human-jobs is where the giant market story comes from.
"The best-case scenario for AI, that $10 to $15 trillion market, will happen if ONLY it replaces people.
If AI is a tool, it’s going to be a much smaller market than if AI replaces people. So, the stories we’re telling about $10, $20 or $25 trillion markets are actually terrifying stories for the rest of the world.
Why? Because if that story comes true, half of all white-collar people are going to lose their jobs. And what are they going to do instead? Who’s going to come up with the income to buy the products and services?
If AI works as well as it’s supposed to and replaces people, how do we deal with that as a society? Because people lose their jobs. Not only do you lose your income, you lose your life’s meaning.."

The AI industry & Trump regime are driving America into a $10 trillion ditch chasing the fantasy of “Super Intelligence.”
But the dirty little secret is that it will never work. Spending trillions on GPUs is like betting America’s future on punchcards.

@jimstewartson They don't give a damn about it working or not working. They just want to keep selling machines. Why? Market Cap. Look at the #s, & #margins! It's all a Tech Mafia scam that's making them billions. As disruption comes they simply buy them up and blame it on Ai. see #huggingface
