This is the most emotional video on the TL
"Mama, your son is now the IG"
You would be extremely into w*tchcraft not to appreciate this video. This IGP Tunji Disu surely knows how to dine with the elders.
@DurojaiyeSegun You see that “ rewrite your history” part, please use the mic for it
You cannot outgrow your history, it’s part of your life’s journey, it’s what Moulded you into who you are now.
Though you might not need some people again but you can’t erase them from your history.
God help us.
I know someone who made over ₦200 million during COVID-19. This was someone I fed and sponsored financially for five years, including his daily lifestyle.
He was the only person I gave unrestricted access to my home. He could visit at any time of the day, and he even had a room in my apartment where he could sleep whenever he came around.
Whenever I went shopping for clothes on the Island, he would pick out clothes alongside me. We would go clubbing all night, and I would give him plenty of cash to spray. Sometimes, I would spend over ₦200,000 on drinks alone.
Then COVID-19 happened, and my guy made about ₦200 million. He bought four cars almost immediately, relocated to the Island, and made new friends.
At a time when clubs were closed because of the COVID-19 lockdown, my guy was taking flights to Abuja to party with his new circle of friends.
The day our friendship took a bitter turn was when my car broke down, and I asked him to lend me one of his cars so I could attend an outing and secure a business deal with a firm in Ilupeju.
His excuse was that his girlfriend was coming to collect one of the cars for an occasion. As for the other two, he said he only drove them occasionally and could not lend them to anyone, not even his father.
That was the moment I decided to stop talking to him.
To be sincere, it hurt. After everything I had done for him over the years, I never imagined that asking for a simple favour would expose how much our friendship had changed.
Some time later, he relocated to the UK.
Four years later, I ran into him last week at a club in Ajao Estate.
From the beginning of the night until the end, the hype man kept calling my name as I stole the show. Eventually, he approached me to say hello.
I snubbed him.
Never forget the people who stood by you when you had nothing. Money can buy you new friends and a luxurious lifestyle, but it cannot rewrite your history.
This girl is smart, let me explain.
She keeps using “my man” or “my boyfriend” in her posts because that’s what gets her the views. Her last few posts that blew up were basically just her mentioning her man to ragebait people.
She buys shoes, real or fake—then posts them saying her man got them for her. It gets people arguing and engaging, so the post racks up impressions. She gets paid roughly double what the shoes cost her, so she ends up making her money back (and more) just from the engagement. Works out for her.
