Bala Mohammed: Fulani Herdsmen Have the Right to Carry AK47
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has declared that Fulani herdsmen have the right to carry AK47 rifles.
It’s particularly bemusing that people think in the face of data-backed existential threats, the people facing such threats will jettison actions that will preserve their lives on the alter of political correctness
For decades, a certain group of people have destroyed farm lands & killed farmers & their families in altercations. Now, it’s escalated into full blown terrorism where that particular group has 30k people actively participating. Yet you don’t understand why they are stereotyped
The authors of the phrase “the north remembers” are playing victim today? What a time to be alive. Meanwhile, you had justified the killings orchestrated by Fulani people even in areas where they had never been harmed but you are victims of genocide today? Go sit down.
The deafening silence by the fulani elders and elites will be catastrophic if they're done with the rural Fulani you're going to be the next
There's fulani genocide going on in Nigeria
I hope you guys just heard what Prof. Ogundiran just said about Ekiti people & the founding of the Ife empire. Please respect us 🤣🤣🤣

No one cares what you suffer, if the suffering is carried out by yours and you think it’s okay to keep suffering because of kinship. On the other hand, others don’t have to tolerate this suffering, neither do they need to do nothing about it.
Many people will find this strange but the the reality is no ethnicity have been dealt with by bandits like Fulani.
The number of times I met Fulani headsmen who said all their cattle were rustled and even kidnapped are uncountable.
Criminality have no ethnicity
The interesting thing is, state policing doesn’t have to copy Nigerian policing system ‘verbatim’. States can show ingenuity in the way they design their “closer-to-the people” police systems taking into account the peculiarities of their states or even region.
This is not the answer to a failed federal Police. Nigerians and the government do not assess and analyze critically to raise questions as to why policies and projects failed.
Now, how did Nigeria Policing system failed?
Another issue is insecurity?
Think about it, what are we solving by creating State police ahead of solving the main and major issues around policing and insecurity in Nigeria.
If Federal Policing has failed Nigeria for decades, State police will copy the same model and continue to be a failure. This time just in the hands of the Governors.
He gave some hints here
The JAS group demands are:
1. Money
2. Military Grade Weapons
3. Certain laws in Yorùbáland/Òyó State, I strongly believe it's Shari'a Law!
If so, then, none should be met and kinetic action should be chosen instead.
They are not Bandits!!!
Buhari administration brought a solution of ranching to animal husbandry christened Ruga but it was rejected by most southern states, most annoying is even northern state have not really implemented it.
Is a good idea, where cattle colony will created with all their needs
If you are looking for a reason to know that Sowore is not for the people, here you have it.
Of all the states in Nigeria, if Sowore was really for the people, he would not get this mentally deranged person to challenge Alex Otti, a governor the whole of Abia can see is working. Abians are even ready to give him four terms if that were possible.
So he wants to challenge the will of the people? So Sowore is trying to tell Abians that Doris is better than Otti? 🤦🏽♂️
All the Nnamdi Kanu gra gra that he did, he has used this one to spoil everything.
Imagine the insult to Abians and Igbos in general.
Sowore is not a politician sha, so I do not expect him to understand politics.
President Tinubu Was a Regional Champion, and Regional Champions Don't Necessarily Make Central Champions – Ukeje
President Tinubu has surrounded himself with the Lagos cabal; it is as though it is a Lagos State government in Abuja. What seemed to work in Lagos isn't working.
Hon. Nnenna Ukeje, Member, African Democratic Congress
Why didn’t you say this when they were killing and ransacking communities? Why didn’t their kinsmen and the herding community work to sieve out the bad guys among them
You’ve just said “ABC”, “XYZ” and then told us it’s why QRS is what you think. So much scattered thoughts when you attempt to be “all for the unity of Nigeria” without critically examining your thought process
I disagree with you on this @Letter_to_Jack, Nigeria genuinely has multiple security challenges, ranging from Herders - Farmers, Banditry, Terrorism, Communal clashes, secessionists and cultism.
The major driving force for banditry is illegal mining, Kidnapping and Cattle Rustling, the Herders are also affected by banditry as their cattle are rustled and sometimes they kill them if they fail to release those animals.
It is unfair those herders also to centre the whole crisis on Banditry rather than separating the two issues. This is why i said stopping Open Grazing will not end banditry cos the bandits does not graze cattle they steal them for financial purposes. It will only stop farmers and herders clashes.
Thank you
