Every (Piece) a significant part of the bigger picture.
"There is a season when there is no one. No phone calls... No invitations to hang out... No one checking in on you... The few who do call probably are just for just... very little engagement... forgotten promises...
This is the time to find yourself and listen to your soul... find laughter... find joy... and find validation in Him who made you.
The noise vanishes so that you can see what's truly left.. What really matters!
What season are you in?

There is no 28billion to pay intern doctors in the budget Museveni is presenting today, no 8billion for UNEB to train teachers on how to mark new syllabus, no 3.5billion to complete new syllabus but there is 211billion for welfare and entertainment for big people, 536 billion for special meals and drinks for big people, 196 billion for big people to donate, 17 billion for firewood, gas and charcoal and 2.6 trillion for classified expenditure!

At a time of persistent staffing shortages and rising demand for quality healthcare, medical interns play a significant role in bridging service delivery gaps.
Interns are qualified health professionals undertaking supervised practice while delivering essential healthcare services. They examine patients, respond to emergencies, make clinical decisions, and help keep health facilities running. Yet they do so under demanding conditions, often working long hours while carrying significant financial burdens.
The Government of Ugandaโs decision to discontinue internsโ allowances raises serious concerns for both their welfare and the future of the countryโs health workforce.
Internship is a mandatory stage of medical training and professional licensing, removing allowances from this stage of essential public service shifts the cost of training and service onto interns themselves, creating barriers for many young professionals and placing additional strain on an already overstretched system.
Investing in medical interns is, ultimately, an investment in the strength of the health system and in safeguarding the right to health for all Ugandans. CEHURD therefore calls on the @GovUganda , the @MinofHealthUG , and relevant authorities to reconsider the decision and ensure that medical interns receive adequate and timely support.

Fellow Ugandans, health is more important than wealth. I am encouraged that in the last five days, we have not registered any new Ebola infections and are instead recording recoveries. This shows that the measures we have put in place are working. However, we must remain vigilant. Avoid handshakes, maintain good hygiene, and follow the guidance of our health authorities. We defeated Ebola before, and with discipline and cooperation, we shall defeat it again.
Hon. Chris Baryomunsi has cleared the air on reports that the government has scrapped medical internsโ allowances, saying the allowances have not been fully removed as widely reported.
โThe students who are on government sponsorship, like those at Makerere, Mbarara, Gulu, and Kabale universities, will proceed with their internships with full support from the government.โ
Hon @JoelSsenyonyi: The question of the lack of resources for medical interns does not arise. The government recently suspended public holiday functions to save money.
We, as parliament, had already passed that entire budget so that money is available, and about UGX 24 billion is going to be saved.
Now that those functions are not going to be held, why donโt we channel that money to the medical interns?
